We have heard many times that Saif and Kareena will marry next year after the release of Agent Vinod. Kareena Kapoor is currently shooting for Madhur Bhandarkar’s ambitious project ‘Heroine’ and if she will be busy in her wedding then shooting schedule of the film will suffer. Now the maker is readjusting shooting dates so that Kareena can get time to for her wedding. Second shooting schedule of the film will be completed by the middle of March for the sake of Kareena’s wedding and the actress will again come back on the sets of the film in May 2012.

Known from a source, “The plan is to complete the schedule, so that Kareena’s performance remains consistent and doesn’t lose the intensity the role demands amidst her wedding plans. This way she gets to enjoy her wedding and honeymoon, before resuming work.”

Well! We wish Madhur Good luck for his film and Kareena for her wedding.

Mahesh Bhupati and Lara Dutta exchanged wedding vows in Victorian style at the sunset point of the erstwhile Portuguese fort of Aguada near here today.

“We had a memorable time at the wedding. Looking forward to the rest of our lives together,” the celebrity couple said in their message after the wedding.

36-year-old Bhupati and Lara, 32, had a specially decorated shamiyana set up for them within the premises of a five-star hotel near Candolim beach on the 16th century fort. The wedding was out of bound for the media but the sources said it was a grand affair. Lara, a former Miss Universe, wore a white gown while Mahesh was in black suit, sources said.

Bollywood actors Reitesh Deshmukh, Raveena Tandon, Dia Mirza, Priyanka Chopra, Celina Jetley and Boman Irani and designers Wendell Rodricks and Sheetal Malhar were among 200 invitees who attended the wedding.

There was no confirmation whether Shah Rukh Khan could make it to the wedding.

From the sporting field, Rohan Bopanna and Leander Paes along with his wife Ria Pillai were among the invitees.

The couple after registering their marriage in Mumbai had flown to Goa where they had a ‘Sangeet’ at Club Fresh, a hang out place at Candolim beach, on Friday night.

The Sangeet was an all night affair with Lara and Mahesh themselves dancing to some recent Bollywood numbers.

Barely two days after her grandiose wedding, Shilpa Shetty-Kundra – that’s how she wants to be known now – feels she’s on top of the world. “Thank God, I plan to get married only once! This has been the most exhausting week of my life. And also the happiest. I’ve waited so long for my wedding. Outwardly, the only thing that’s different is the choodas, and the way I’m dressed. Inside me, everything feels the same. I’ve known Raj for so long that it feels no different otherwise,” says the not-so-blushing bride!
“I have a severe jaw ache from all the smiling at the reception. Now I know why my colleagues avoid wedding receptions! It really does get impossible to manage the entire crowd,” she adds. Apparently, there were more gatecrashers at the reception than guests. “At the wedding too, there were people climbing trees and walls to take photographs,” Shilpa giggles. “But it was a far more intimate, private and controlled affair than the reception. Shamita kept saying that she felt she was part of a Punjabi wedding sequence from a movie!”
After her effervescent laughter finally subsides, Shilpa says soberly, “The wedding was very traditional and simple. I felt I was going through a dream. My marriage was exactly the way I had imagined it.” The Kundras will now leave for their honeymoon, followed by a Mediterranean cruise for the entire family. Says Shilpa happily, “We’re going to the Bahamas for our honeymoon. Then after we return, Raj is taking our entire family, all the Shettys and the Kundras, on a Mediterranean cruise for Christmas. He thought everyone needed a break.”
And where does Mrs Kundra plan to live now, Mumbai, or London? “I have to get acquainted with Raj’s circle of friends in London, get used to socialising with them.Yes, we’ll have two homes now. In any case, I was always travelling to and fro. Now I’ll be doing this even more! I have my film-production company in Mumbai. So I can’t be in London only.”
Talk about motherhood, and Shilpa’s all eager, “Oh yes! I certainly want to be a mother. I can’t wait to start our family.”

Shilpa wore a traditional red lehenga, created by the celebrity designer Tarun Tahiliani. Raj wore a gold sherwani with a pagdi (turban) in gold and red, and a traditional sword.
The wedding ceremonies were conducted in Bunt style with the bride’s sister Shamita, freshly evicted from the Bigg Boss set in nearby Lonavala, playing a stellar part in the proceedings. The cuisine was Mangalorean as well; lots of yummy gassi was served, we hear. The couple left for their new home in Mumbai on Sunday night.
