Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra delivered a baby boy on Monday morning at a hospital in Khar.

Excited proud papa Kundra tweeted, “God has blessed us with a beautiful baby boy. Both mother and baby are fine… Both mum and Baby K are resting. I am thrilled to bits!!!!!!”

He further posted, “A big thank you to my wife @TheShilpaShetty for the bestest gift ever, Dr. Kiran Cohelo and all the staff at Hinduja Hospital! Thank you all for your love and wishes for our new born.”

A source informed about the well being of new mom and baby by saying, “The baby and mother are doing fine. Shilpa’s husband Raj Kundra was by Shilpa’s side from the beginning till the time she was admitted till her delivery at the break of dawn. It was only after he saw the baby that he finally left home to go and rest. Raj and his family and Shilpa’s entire family, including mother Sunanda and sister Shamita, were present. Dr. Kiran Coelho delivered the baby at a healthcare hospital in Khar. Though Shilpa was due any day on Sunday she had gone for a normal check up but the doctors admitted her immediately as the contractions had begun.”

Earlier this month Shamita hosted a grand baby shower for her sister Shilpa at her residence in Mumbai and now the baby has come into the world

Well! We too congratulate the couple for being the parents of a lovely baby.

Pregnant Shilpa Shetty was seen at Kiran Bawa’s Lohri celebrations. Her husband Raj Kundra was accompanying her at this occasion. Many other celebrities such as Dharmendra, Jitendra, Ekta Kapoor and Mahi Gill etc. were also spotted at this occasion.

In the past there was a rumor of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s pregnancy but now the actress is pregnant in real.

She confirmed about her pregnancy on twitter by saying, “YES an addition 2 r family is r confirmation 2 all queries:)We seek blessings from all in this very beautiful phase of our lives.”

The actress married to a businessman Raj Kundra in November 2009 and it will be their first child together though Raj already had a child from his first wife.

Earlier actress has posted a message about her production house, she twitted, “Heyllllllllloooooooooo all u tweetos missed ya all fr so loooong! Sorry been crazy with the new production, and zeroing in on our 1st Film.”

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty is known as a follower of Baba Ramdev. She has attended his yoga camp. She has also been photographed with him at his gatherings of yoga. When she launched her yoga DVD, she gifted him that too.

Though she is a follower of his yoga but she did not like Baba Ramdev’s campaign which has now become political agenda.

Shilpa clears that she only follows Baba Ramdev for his yoga. She said, “My mom used to watch him on TV, and I got hooked onto it as well. I really loved the selfless work he was doing for people. I am a yoga follower and practise it too. I met him for the first time to gift him my yoga DVD, and he was very impressed. I was the first person from B-Town to come out with a yoga DVD and fitness concept. He blessed me. I associate myself with and understand the science of yoga but I don’t understand the political part. For me it was a continuity jerk when I put on the TV and saw him staging a dharna. His entire image for me is related to yoga but that he’s politically too inclined is news to me.”

She was asked if she supports his agitation against corruption.

“I don’t support what he’s done and the manner in which things have been carried out. As an Indian citizen living in a democracy it is my right to practice, live and voice my opinion. And Baba Ramdev has the same right. I support his theory that corruption should be reduced but I don’t know if I can support the way he’s doing it. Each one of us has the capacity and capability to deal with corruption in our own individual way. It’s sad and traumatic to see so many people affected —women and children hurt… All this is a bit gory for me, and I can’t support it. I am upset with the way the whole thing was carried out. I support his yoga — that’s all.”
