Shahid Kapoor recently found himself surrounded with controversy because all of a sudden he stopped following Bollywood badshah Shah Rukh Khan on twitter.

When Shahid realised his mistake, he tweeted, “What`s up people … Read the weirdest story that I had stopped following SRK … Only to realise that I actually had … No clue how.”

The actor added, “Well he`s back on my follow list … Was just some random thing people going loony over it !!! Haha.”

Though it would have not been a big thing because it could happen by mistake but it gave chance to media to write against Shahid and SRK was made responsible Shahid – Priyanka breakup.

It seems there is a war going on between trade analyst Taran Adarsh actor Shahid Kapoor on the twitter about the collections of Shahid’s latest released, “Mausam”.

Adarsh tweeted about ‘Mausam’, “Fetched approx `21 cr/`22 crore net in its opening weekend. Biz slid downwards on Saturday, but showed escalation on Sunday… numbers are below the mark.”

After Adarsh, Shahid tweets, “So all those trying so hard to scr** “Mausam” can go scr** themselves. Waise bhi aajkal kuchh logon ke adarsh buri tarha gir chuke hain.”

But Adarsh replied back to Shahid with one more tweet, “Abusing me won’t help. Instead, get a reality check and introspect the shortcomings of the film.”

Shahid Kapoor is preparing to release the promo of his film Mausam today. The actor has worked very hard for this film.

Recently during a promotional shoot of a car music system company Pioneer, Shahid talked about Mausam. He said, “”It’s a film that’s very close to my heart. It’s a film, which we made as a family together. It’s a film where I have given one and half years of my life. Of course wherever I am required for the film I am there.”

Mausam is slated to release on Sept 16. Imran Khan’s Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Ranveer’s Rockstar were earlier slated to release on Sept 9 but now Rockstar’s date has been postponed further.  

Shahid feels good that all the three films are not coming at the same time into the theatres.

He said, “All the three films were supposed to release at the same time and I am happy that it’s not happening so because that’s not good for the business.”

Shahid added, “Imran’s and Ranbir’s film are coming and I am curious how their films are. Around the same time Mausam is also coming and I hope people enjoy all the three films.”

Recently Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor finished shooting of Mausam directed by his father Pankaj Kapoor. While working with his dad Shahid felt that film helped to develop a whole new relationship between them.

Though Shahid has worked in many films before acting in Mausam directed by his father but his father made him to do many retakes during the shooting of the film.

Shahid shared his experience of working with his dad Pankaj Kapoor, he says, “Dad has a way of acting and showing how he wants a scene done. Initially, I found it very intimidating. The first few days were very tough for me. It was also hard to replicate what he was showing me. I was extremely nervous and awkward. But somewhere we found a comfort level and I can say that the making of this film helped us develop a whole new relationship.”

Shahid was asked whether his dad treated him differently, he said, “Well, yes. I have worked with loads of directors but have never been given a hint that I gave a crappy shot! Often dad would make me do several retakes and do the scene exactly how he wanted it. So, I had to work that much harder.”

Shahid further said, “This experience just made me realise that I would love to act in a film with him.”

Recently Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor won the title of Asia’s Sexiest Vegetarian Man for 2011. He was given this title by PETA Asia Pacific website. Asia’s Sexiest Vegetarian Woman’s crown has gone to singer Faye Wong.

There were popular contenders from Bollywood and Hollywood such as Kareena Kapoor, Hollywood hottie Maggie Q and Mongolian singer Nominjin, Super Girl Jane Zhang, Taiwanese actor Blue Lan, actors Gao Yuanyuan and Barbie Hsu, and songwriter Louis Cheung. Celebrities from outside the continent were Natalie Portman, Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia; fighting champion Jake Shields and singers Anthony Kieldis (of the Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Leona Lewis.

Recently Shahid was starred in ad campaign for PETA India praising vegetarian food: “Chicks Love a Vegetarian”. In 2009 also Shahid earned India’s Sexiest Vegetarian title from the same organisation. Shahid Kapoor says, “I have always supported the cause of being a vegetarian, and it’s nice to be felicitated for something so close to my heart. Being voted as sexy is a matter of perception, but being vegetarian is a lifestyle change and something that comes from a sense of responsibility. I want to thank my fans for their vote and I am enjoying the sexy tag.”

Earlier we have heard the news of Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor’s break up. Their last break-up was final, but it seems Shahid has not given it up. He wants to give this relationship another chance.

Known from a source close to Shahid and Pryanka, “Shahid is not willing to accept that this is The End. He is having a tough time letting go. He has been sending her feelers for weeks, which she has been ignoring. Now his text messages are somewhere in the stalker zone. Recently, when he heard that she was going to be present at Shah Rukh’s party for his team and mingle with the boys, he began to frantically call her. He was anxious like a possessive lover as he wasn’t attending the party due to an injury.”

Another source revealed further, “PC was more than excited to meet the likes of Brett Lee. She even broke into an impromptu song. Every one kept cheering her.”

When she was singing in the party her phone was flashing ‘Shahid calling’.

A source added, “He was desperate to talk to her. And she was ignoring his calls and texts. When he couldn’t reach her, Shahid began calling their common friends to find out the details of the party. But none of them got back to him.”

It seems Priyanka don’t want to give their relationship another chance but on the other side Shahid is trying to get back to her.

The source added further, “He has been sending her emotional texts and telling their friends that he misses being with her. But PC is happy to stay good friends.”

Shahid Kapoor will be the first actor in the world to fly the F-16 IN Super Viper fighter plane. Till today no actor has got a chance to sit in one of the fastest flying planes in the world. Shahid will participate in the Aero India 2011 in Bangalore where he will fly the plane on February 11.

A source reveals that he has been preparing for this for the last few months. “He’s gone through rigorous training for the last one month and will continue to do so till his flying date. Apart from the training, there are a number of medical tests that need to be approved before he can actually sit in the cockpit.

Shahid Kapoor said he had to undergo rigorous training for one year to get rid of his chocolate boy image and get that macho physique. Shahid had to completely change his regular training routine to develop the six packs.
