After Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, its Saif Ali Khan who got into a scuffle in a five star hotel restaurant last night. Reports are that the actor punched a man in his face and broke his nose.

An assault case has been filed against Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. If Saif will be arrested and convicted for physical assault, he may be sentenced seven years imprisonment because he is booked under section 325 of the IPC.

When incident occurred last night at Wasabi restaurant, Taj Hotel, Saif was having dinner with Kareena Kapoor and with few friends including Malaika Arora Khan and Amrita Arora Ladak.

A man named Iqbal M Sharma was also having dinner along with his family at an adjoining table and he objected to the noise made by Saif and his friends. Saif got irritated and a scuffle broke between them. According to reports, Saif told Iqbal to go to the library if he needed quiet place.

Another story about the scuffle is that the fight in real broke between Amrita Arora’s husband Shakeel Ladak and Iqbal and when Saif went to stop them, he too got into a brawl with Iqbal.

Now Iqbal has filed a complaint with the Colaba police station against Saif and two of his associates who assaulted him at the restaurant.

Iqbal M Sharma is the deputy director of department of trade & investment, South Africa. He is a South African national of Indian origin.

Confirming the news, Hawaldar Welkar of the Colaba Police station in Mumbai said “Yes, a case was registered against Saif Ali Khan by Iqbal Sharma, last night for some fight that took place between them in Hotel Taj last night. Rest of the details are with my boss ACP Iqbal Sheikh.”

When contacted ACP Iqbal Sheikh said, “We are conducting an inquiry into the matter and we will be questioning every one involved in this case. If required we will be arresting who ever is at fault.”

So far people present at Wasabi restaurant have kept mum about the incident. The floor manager, Pankaj Singh said, “I wasn’t here last night so I don’t know about anything that happened at the restaurant nor have I heard anything from anyone here.”

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was made the 10^th Nawab of Pataudi in a private ceremony at his ancestral property Pataudi Palace.

A symbolic coronation ceremony was organised by the heads of 52 villages, in which, a turban was placed on Saif`s head as a mark of respect.

Saif’s mother Sharmila Tagore, sisters Soha Ali Khan, Sabah Ali Khan and his daughter with Ex-wife Amrita Singh were present at this occasion.

Haryana’s Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and many villagers were also present in this ceremony.

Saif Ali Khan has been also called as Chhote Nawab but now he will be crowned the tenth Nawab of Pataudi. This title has been abolished many years ago so Saif has made it clear that this ceremony will be done only for keeping the sentiments of the villagers.

The government has abolished princely states in 1971 so Saif’s father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was supposed to be the last holder of the title Nawab.

Known from a source, “The people of the princely state were keen to crown their chhote nawab. For purely sentimental reasons, the people of Pataudi wanted Saif to be the crowned Nawab.”

Saif was not even interested in holding the title, he has said, “It is an anachronism. And also, I would like to remember my father as the last Nawab of Pataudi.”

Saif added, “These titles are no longer recognised by the government. And rightly so, if you ask. But the people in our villages are sentimental about these things. The ceremony is more of a family tradition and hugely symbolic for the people of Pataudi.”

According to a report Pataudi ceremony will be conducted at the end of the month, 40 days after the demise of Tiger Pataudi.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are dating each other from a long time now but that doesn’t mean Saif styles himself after getting tips from Kareena.

While talking to reporters Saif says, “I never take dressing or styling tips from Kareena as I being a strong and sexy man, know how to dress perfectly and look good.”

He recently walked on the ramp as a show-stopper for Mandira Wirk and was looking smart, handsome and confident as usual.

Recently Priyanka Chopra turned down an offer of a role in Saif’s upcoming film ‘Agent Vinod’ due to Kareena Kapoor. Saif said, “I am completely fine with that as most of the actresses do not want to share screen space with Bebo (Kareena Kapoor).”

Saif and Kareena are planning for their marriage, sometime next year. And when Saif was asked about his wedding plans, he didn’t disclose the date but talked about his wedding dress, he said, “Since I belong to Bhopal, I will definitely wear an achka.”

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan’s father Tiger Pataudi is admitted in a hospital in Delhi. He has lung infection problem. Saif was seen going to the hospital on Friday morning.

His father condition is better now. Sharmial Tagore is also present in the hospital along with husband and son.

A source informed Mumbai mirror, “Pataudi was extremely unwell in the morning. But he is better now. He is already on his road to recovery.”

The source adds, “He is being provided with the best treatment. Saif has ensured that his father gets all the amenities. Saif is also constantly in touch with the doctors.”

Saif Ali Khan also confirmed the news to Mumbai Mirror, “Yes, I am in Delhi. My dad is in the hospital but he is stable now. He has a lung infection.”

Discharge date of Mr Pataudi is not yet decided by doctors.

Kareena too is expected to visit her to be father-in law. A source said, “She is currently tied up in a shoot for Saif’s home production Agent Vinod in Filmistan Studio (Goregaon). But the entire time when she wasn’t shooting, she was constantly on the phone with Saif enquiring about Pataudi’s health.”
