Madhur Bhandarkar has started the shooting of ‘Heroine’ along with Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal. Have a look at the pics from the sets of Heroine.

There is buzz in Bollywood that actress Kareena Kapoor has charged Rs 7 crore for Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’. Her last released films 3 Idiots, Bodyguard and RA.One had done the business of over Rs 100 crore so the actress increased her price.

Known from a source, “Bebo was offered Heroine twice, but she didn’t give it a green signal because she and the makers, UTV and Bhandarkar, couldn’t agree on the fee. But now, things are sorted.”

If the reports are true that she has charged Rs.7 crore for ‘Heroine’ then Kareena has left Aishwarya behind because Aishwarya charged Rs.6 crore for working in Rajinikanth’s ‘Robot’.

When Kareena was asked about the pay cheque, she says, “Till date, I’ve never discussed my pay cheque in the media. But for Heroine, I am getting only what I rightly deserve.”

About first day shoot of ‘Heroine’ Kareena says, “On the first day of the shoot, I was nervous because there’s a lot of pressure. We plan to do something very different.”

She has been voted the sexiest Asian woman in the world, hearing this news her reaction was, “I couldn’t really believe it. I started laughing when I was told about it. I am not used to it. And that too from Asia, which is a huge continent. The thought is scary and unbelievable. When I told Saif, he was like, ‘Why Asia? It’s in the world.’ I think that was quite sweet.”

Madhur Bhandarkar has also clarified that he always wanted to cast ‘Kareena’ in this film. Kareena talked about her role in the film, “My character in the film is me. It’s something I can relate to, and so I hope I will be able to do it well.”

Earlier Arunoday Singh was supposed to play an important role in Kareena starrer Madhur Bhandarkar’s film ‘Heroine’ but a quick change has been made in the star cast of the film and Randeep Hooda replaced him.

Reports are that Arunoday’s character had an intimate scene with actress Kareena Kapoor and she didn’t want to do the scene with him so Madhur Bhandarkar replaced him with Randeep.

Known from a source, “Kareena approved of Randeep filling up for Arunoday. She was also informed at the earlier stage when Randeep was being approached.”

The source added, “Randeep is very happy to work with Bhandarkar and UTV. Heroine, after all, is a big film. He will be playing a cricketer in it.”

Madhur Bhandarkar confirmed it by saying, “The role was changed. Randeep suits it more now. Arunoday is a very talented guy. I am looking forward to working with him in the future.”
