Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is in news these days because of her relationship with director Sajid Khan. The actress had an interview recently and talked about her career in Bollywood, she also praised her Housefull 2 and Race 2 co-star John Abraham. Excerpt from the interview…..

From a sultry bombshell in Murder 2, to a bride-to-be in Housefull 2…
l It’s very easy to get stereotyped in this industry. I wouldn’t have been able to get out of the ‘sexy’ image if it weren’t for Housefull 2. After Murder 2, I rejected many roles which required me to be a sex siren.

Do you think actresses get stereotyped much more than actors?
Absolutely. But luckily, we’re now getting our due. Vidya Balan has hit Bollywood like a hurricane. I feel liberated just talking about her. And then there’s Kareena, who’s demanding her worth. These women have taught the industry a lesson.

Would it be easier if you had a godfather?
A godfather would have made things easy but I don’t know for how long. People are ready to take credit for your success and abandon you in times of trouble. I want to take credit for my own success and blame for my failures.

You have two films with John this year…
John’s very sweet. On one hand, he can make a rice sack look sexy, and on the other, he’s polite and a perfect gentleman; the kind of boy you can take home to daddy. We have Race 2; hope it makes us the ‘IT’ on-screen couple.”

You’ve been fairly guarded about your life…
What makes an actor and actor is the work s/he does. You can run around naked or shout from rooftops, but at the end of the day, it’s good performances that will get you more work.

Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez was offered a role in Hrithik starrer Krrish 3 but the actress couldn’t do it due to some reason and it was reported that her decision is influenced by Sajid Khan.

Here is what Jacqueline has to say about her not doing Krrish 3, she clarifies, “Krrish 3 I think more of my bad luck. It was unfortunate clash of dates. I felt a major burden on lot of people, so I had to make the decision. Both parties tried hard to make it work, but it didn’t work. It’s my bad luck I couldn’t do Krrish 3.”

And why she opted out from Mahesh Bhatt’s Raaz 3. She said, “Unfortunately you tend to get stereotype in the industry and that was the major concern for me. When Murder 2 released, there were lot of offers coming my way.”

She added, “When we got into the later stage of finalisation of Raaz 3, I just was not comfortable. I felt I have done it in Murder 2, so it’s time to move on. Housefull 2 was a major relief. It’s a different genre. It sees me as a lot more Indianised.”

About Sajid Khan, Jacqueline said, “There has always been a reason for my action. I am not from this industry. I have made my movies and career choices completely on my own. When it comes to these things, I don’t take advice. I don’t have mentors. Sajid Khan is not my mentor. People are very quick to take the credit, but are not quick to take the blame.”

Jacqueline is currently promoting Housefull 2 which will hit the theatres on April 5.

Though Mahesh Bhatt is praising Jacqueline a lot but only time will tell that how Jacqueline is worth for his film Murder2 and how much offers she gets from Bollywood film industry. We are waiting for that to happen.

Murder 2 is a 2011 Hindi Romantic thriller, and a sequel of Murder.

Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline is all set to sizzle in Bollywood, in her forthcoming movie Aladin. She said, “I’ve walked the runway in Delhi before, but the city will remain very special to me because of my first showstopping act here.”
She added that she feels quite lucky to have worked with Big B in her debut film. However, she admits that AB petrified her initially. “The night before I had a scene with him, I just couldn’t sleep. I was tensed up about having to act with such a seasoned actor,” she said.
Jacqueline also said that her B’wood journey hasn’t been a cakewalk. “I had to work hard on my language and dialogue skills. But I’m learning the ropes now.”
