Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor are promoting their upcoming film ‘Mausam’.
The actors were spotted on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati – Season 5 which is being hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. They made a special appearance on the show for promoting their upcoming film ‘Mausam’ which is slated to release on September 16, 2011.
This is for the first time Shahid and Sonam had worked together and all their fans are enthusiastically waiting to see the chemistry between them. Shahid Kapoor will be seen as an air force officer in the film and Sonam too has been given a different look in the film.
During their special appearance on the sets of KBC 5 fashionista Sonam Kapoor was seen wearing a dress by Australian designer Collette Dinnigan and shoes by Giorgio Armani.
Both the stars along with Big B were looking great on the show.
The controversy which has surrounded Aishwarya’s pregnancy and Madhur’s film Heroine which Ash was supposed to do is increasing day by day. Recently Madhur Bhandarkar revealed that Ash didn’t inform him about her pregnancy otherwise entire event would not have happened.
The Bachchans are upset with latest rumours of a loss of Rs.18 crore due Aishwarya Rai.
During his way back to Ajmer Sharif Dargah, Amitabh Bachchan said, “Whatever has happened between Aishwarya, Madhur and UTV is between them. I know that the rumours going around are not true. I hope that the truth comes out soon.”
Big B further commented about a huge monetary loss and said it is false. He said, “Everybody knew that Aishwarya was married when she signed the film. So you mean to say that actors can’t get married or have children? I don’t think this can be a part of any contract that you cannot get married or have children if you working in a project.”
Amitabh Bachchan is also unhappy with the UTV. He said, I had completed Shoe Bite lon back. I had also invested my time into it and completed the film which was based on Johnny Walker. I have never indulged in this kind of talk even though the film has not been released till now and I have no word about when it will be released.
Aishwarya is not reacting at Madhur’s allegation of hiding the pregnancy fact. One of her friend says that Aishwarya has not accepted any compensation for the movie.
The source says, “They have not paid her anything for the film. All this hue and cry about losses is false as they had only shot for seven to 10 days, out of which the first few days were spent in photo-shoots and locations shoots. The actual film shooting hadn’t even begun. Ash is very upset with the fact that she’s being targeted for being pregnant – a time when people should be happy for her.”
It seems clear that Bachchan family is not thinking of suing Madhur over his allegations.
Though Aamir and Amitabh Bachchan were seen together recently and they respect each other but recently Big B commented at Aamir’s film Delhi Belly on his blog.
Big B posted on his blog, “They repeatedly taunt my modesty, for, it worries them how my vocabulary does not entertain immodesty. They chuckle and snigger at this ‘act’ of mine as my greatest performance, for, they are not qualified enough to judge what an actual creative performance comprises of.”
He further concluded, “I shall sleep well. Will they?”
Anil Kapoor also got upset knowing Aamir’s statement about his chest hair in item number I hate you (like I love you). Aamir Khan had said, “The hairstyle is borrowed from Amitji, (Amitabh Bachchan), the dancing moves are inspired from Rishiji (Rishi Kapoor), Mithunda (Mithun Chakraborty) and Govinda, and the chest hair is inspired by Anil Kapoor.”
Big B was seen in his flashiest best dess during the promotion of Bbuddah…Hoga Tera Baap.
Anushka Sharma was spotted smiling in her cool dress.
Dia and Sohail, Shirish Kunder and wife Farah Khan was seen at the screening of Chillar Party.
These days Amitabh Bachchan is busy in promoting his upcoming flick ‘Bbudha Hoga Terra Baap’. He is visiting radio stations, TV channels, organizing press meet which makes his schedule very tight and it impacts on his health.
Big B wrote on his blog, “There has been a setback in the health I think .. a congestion arises in the chest and the throat has become hoarse and painful at the glands … so back to home doctor and on to antibiotics to control it.”
Amitabh Bachchan further posted about the reason behind congestion. He wrote, “… it could also be from the fact that I normally speak as much as I did in the past few days, in a year. My entire quota for the year ending 2011 would still be less than what I have done in the last 2 days. That is a lot of talking! And when I do get back home its like being drugged … just dozing off even while standing and lack of complete energy. This is not good, once a chest condition begins with me it takes forever to heal and become normal. So its best given the treatment before it gets out of hand…”
He also explained about the effects of medication and wrote about the improvement of his health.
His latest post says, “I see as usual the fraternity anxious and worried about my condition, but there really is nothing in it. I am good and in fine fettle. Its all the others that tire and fall ill – my staff, security, make up etc. Virus in the air is taking its toll on all. But all is good with me, do not worry!!”
Bbudha Hoga Terra Baap is slated to release on July 1.
Amitabh Bachchan at the age of 68 is ready with his films ‘Bbudha Hoga Tera Baap’ and ‘Aarakshan’. He has played different sheds in these films. Recently he was in Delhi with Aarakshan’s director Praksha Jha for promoting his film. The megastar said that he will work till his body works.
While talking to reporters, Amitabh said, “Age is nothing when you want to work…If the body is working, the face is okay and the voice is okay, I would like to work as long as I can.”
In his own charismatic style he compared Bollywood profession with sports. He explained, “Our profession is like that of sportsmen. If there are serious injuries on the body, they cannot perform. Similarly, if any part of our body stops working, actors also stop working.”
When Big B was asked that what keeps him going even after devoting over four decades to the Indian Film industry, though he didn’t like this query but replied, “I think a lot of people are troubled by the fact that I am working at this age…It’s some sort of campaign to make me stop working….” He added: “To all those who think so…here you go…’Bbuddah…Hoga Tera
“Bbuddah…Hoga Tera Baap” is slated to release on July 1, and “Aarakshan” will hit the theatres on Aug 12.
Amitabh Bachchan and Arjun Rampal have earlier worked in films such as Aankhen and Ek Ajnabee in the past. The buzz is that Pritish Nandi Communication has signed them together for an untitled film.
This film will be directed by Pritish Nandi’s son Kushan Nandi. It will be his directorial debut. In the past we have heard that Malllika Sherawat will work opposite Big B. But that film couldn’t work out. New script has been written for the same film.

Well! We are also looking forward to see Big B and Arjun Rampal together again.
It seems Aamir Khan is not worried about his film ‘Delhi Belly’ clashing at the box office with Big B’s film Bbuddah – Hoga Tera Baap.
Aamir Khan’s last five home production films have been hit so he is quite confident for his sixth film ‘Delhi Belly’
Though he knows that his film will clash at the box office with Amitabh Bachchan’s film but he is busy in promoting it.
Delhi Belly and Big B’s film Bbuddah- Hoga Tera Baap will release at the same time. Bbuddah – Hoga –Tera – Baap has been directed by Puri Jagannath. The film will show Amitabh Bachchan as an angry old man.
When Aamir Khan was asked about the clash of the film, he replied, “Ohhh, is it?” He further said, “There is always room for two good films. They can co-exist. Remember Dil and Ghayal were released on the same day? Again Lagaan and Gadar hit screens together. So it’s not new for me.”
Prakash Jha selected a thousand students from Madhya Pradesh and trained them to face the camera for his film Aarakshan. Big B faces real students from various colleges who have gathered at the Oriental College in Bhopal to be part of the Big B’s celluloid campus.
Director Jha said, “We selected a thousand students from Bhopal and the rest from Madhya Pradesh with no experience in acting at all. We put them through a month of acting workshops.
