Sania Mirza and Sohrab who got engaged in July last year, reportedly realized that they were incompatible and agreed to go their separate ways.

Deepika Padukone began dating co-actor Ranbir Kapoor, her co-star from the film Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008) but the couple broke up in November 2009.

Rumours are that Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor was never comfortable with the relationship and that seems to be the main reason for their split.

The Shahid-Kareena breakup is among the most controversial splits of Bollywood. There were accusations of Amrita Rao and later Vidya Balan coming in between the two. But it was actually Kareena’s increasing proximity to Saif Ali Khan, which led to the breakup.

It is inevitable for Ash and Salman to feature on a list of nastiest Bollywood breakups. In one of the ugliest and most public splits that Bollywood has seen, Ash and Salman called it quits after two years of romance, accusations of coercion, assault and the likes.

The Akshay Kumar-Shilpa Shetty breakup is also a dark mark over Bollywood. There were accusations of cheating and of some serious defamation on both sides.

Another terrible breakup was between Abhishek Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor. Even before Abhi entered Bollywood, he was engaged to Karisma. However, the engagement was called off due to inexplicable reasons and the Bachchans and the Kapoors swore never to see eye-to-eye again.

Sushmita Sen has always been very open about all her relationships. Her first relationship that came to limelight was with her first director Vikram Bhatt.

After Sabeer Bhatia, Sush fell for a newcomer Randeep Hooda. Both were seen at parties and also spotted shopping together. But like her other past relations her affair with Randeep didn’t last long and both mutually called off their relationship.

After being described as the steadiest couple in Bollywood, and after eight years of being together, Lara Dutta and Kelly Dorjee also parted ways. There were reports that the couple had been having fights very often.

Shah Rukh Khan who bagged the Best Actor award for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi at the fifth Apsara Film and Television Producers Guild Awards on Friday evening. The Chevrolet Heartbeat of the Nation Award (Male) was bagged by Shahid Kapur for Kaminey and Deepika Padukone (Female) for Love Aaj Kal. The other special award, Guinness World Record for the Most Public Appearances to Promote a Film went to Abhishek Bachchan. He travelled to seven cities in 12 hours to promote Delhi-6. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena performed on stage to some of their hit songs to entertain the crowds.

Check out superstars Aishwarya Rai and Rajnikanth in their upcoming film Endhiran. Endhiran, initially titled Robot. With a budget of Rs 120 crore, Endhiran is said to be the costliest Indian film. Endhiran is a science fiction film and is directed by S Shankar. The music director for Endhiran is none other than Oscar-winner A.R Rahman.
