Vidya Balan has influenced everyone including Bollywood’s perfectionist actor Aamir Khan with her rocking performance in her films The Dirty Picture and Kahaani. Recently Vidya was called ‘Female Aamir Khan’ due to performing her role perfectly. But here is what Aamir has to say about Vidya. Expressing the desire of working with Vidya, Aamir said, “I think we must call Vidya by her name only and who am I for her to be getting my name? She is very talented and a wonderful actress. I would love to work with her.”

Aamir has not seen Vidya’s recent released Kahaani but he praised her for her talent. He said, “I haven’t seen Kahaani yet but I have heard very good things about it, people have appreciated and liked the film a lot. Even about Vidyaji I have heard good things. People have appreciated and liked her recent films. I congratulate her.”

Veena Malik was supposed to appear on NDTV Imagine’s TV show Swayamvar 4 but the latest news is that the Pakistani actress has gone missing from her residence in Mumbai.

Her manager Prateik Mehta has said that she is untraceable since the morning of December 16. Recently Veena was shooting for a film in Mumbai. Director of the film informed that he has received a message from Veena stating that she is not well.

Her missing information has been given to the police but formal complaint is not registered yet.
Veena has earlier participated in Bigg Boss 4, a reality TV show in India. She also posed nude for FHM magazine’s cover and since then she was receiving death threats from banned militant group Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT). A member of the group known as Abu Usama said, “She has made fun of all Muslim women and brought shame to the entire nation. Veena Malik will be dealt with accordingly on her return to Pakistan. Our ‘faithful’ are prepared to welcome her.” Prominent cleric Maulana Abdul Qawi said, “She has shamed all Muslims.”

When Veena participated in Bigg Boss 4, she was criticised for her bold activities such as wearing shorts, hugging the contestants on the show etc.

Veena Malik’s disappearance is not the first case, few months ago Laila Khan, who has worked in 2008-release Waffa has also gone missing from her residence along with her family. Correct information about her is yet not known.

Ayesha Takia started her acting career as a kid and did a film at the age of 15 but after her marriage she did not work in any film for about two and a half years. Now the actress will be seen again on large screen in her upcoming film ‘Mod’ and she believes that she never stopped being a heroine. She says, “I never stopped being a heroine. I began acting when I was four and bagged my first film as a heroine at the age of 15.”

Further talking about her great performance in ‘Dor’ and again working with director Nagesh Kukunoor, the actress says, “I know him socially and bumped into him one day. That was when he told me about this project and I took it up because Nagesh will never offer me anything less than the best. The critics noticed me as a performer only with Dor.”

Ayesha also talked about her life after marriage, she says, “I never planned anything in my life. When I got married, I decided to take a break. I wanted to travel, see life differently and discover things about myself.”

When Ayesha took break from Bollywood then she along with her husband Farhan explored new things to do. Currently they are giving finishing touches to their new property in Goa which is a 100-year-old bungalow, their planning is to convert it into a boutique hotel.  Ayesha says “We had this concept in mind for a long time and we plan to bring to take this to other cities as well.”

When asked, if she would do fewer films because she has got other things to do, she says, “I am enjoying this phase in my life and am very happy being a businesswoman. But acting has always been part of my life and it just can’t go away.”

Though Ayesha is ready to work in Bollywood but she doesn’t believe in skin show for doing an item number. The actress says, “Item numbers are not my scene at all.”

Since her debut in Bollywood, many things have changed, there is more competition now, new actresses are heading towards the industry but it doesn’t bother Ayesha. She says, “There has always been competition, then and even now. I never noticed it, though.”

“Six years ago, a daily paper called me ‘fat’ on their front page,” she pouted, “and that really hurt. I asked John if I was fat. Since he loves me, he wasn’t complaining. But I realised that John, my family and friends were being polite. I was fat.’’
So Bips decided that if she had to make her presence felt in showbiz, she needed to get herself an hourglass figure. “The paper actually did me a favour by insulting me,’’ she said, “it served as a wake-up call.’’
In a hurry to shed the ungainly weight, Bipasha did a lot of wrong things. She ran for hours on the treadmill, almost getting her knees to collapse. “After that, I learnt that the first step to getting fit was to get healthy,” the actress acknowledged. And with some professional help, she got an ideal routine of strength training, pilates, yoga and cardio workouts. She got herself a good, enriched diet. “The holistic approach helped. Within months, I dropped the extra weight… and also found my curves,’’ she smiled.
Now she’s ready to launch a series of fitness DVDs, and a fitness and fashion clothing line like Hollywood superstar Jennifer Lopez. Bipasha believes that she must share her fitness mantra with the world. And that’s what she has been doing over the last eight months while the world thought Bips was twiddling her thumbs – secretly working on herself.
“For an hour every day even John can’t reach me,’’ she revealed. “That hour is dedicated to my workout. I don’t say that I have the best body in the business. But yes, I have a fit body.’’ Not to mention a sexy one, eh, John?
