Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan who is currently promoting his upcoming crime-thriller Players shares the biggest lesson of his life which he learnt while taking riding sessions. During a horse-racing event, the actor says, “When I was a kid, I used to go to Juhu beach along with five-six other children to learn riding. The first time I sat on a horse, the horse threw me off… My trainer asked me to immediately go and sit again on the horse and said that if you don’t go and sit now, the fear will reside inside you and you will never be able to ride a horse. That was one of the greatest life lessons you can ever have.”

He added, “If you fall down or something you don’t achieve, get back and keep riding because that is the only thing that will give you the confidence.”

He also said that when he was new to the industry and his films were not working then this lesson helped him. Abhishek said, “Sometimes your films don’t work, the first thing you do is to get back in front of the camera to keep the confidence going and to have the belief.”

The actor has three films such as Bol Bachchan, Dhoom 3 and Dostana 2 in his hands and his upcoming film is ‘Players’ which will hit the theatre on January 6.

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan is currently shooting for Abbas Mustan’s action-thriller film ‘Players’ but the actor says he is not able concentrate on his work due to his new born baby.

He twitted, “1st day back at work after Beti B. And so difficult to concentrate. Thoughts are monopolised by a certain little lady.”

Earlier actor has requested his fans on twitter to suggest baby’s name starting with ‘A’. The name has not yet decided for the baby, he said, “Unfortunately still haven’t finalised the name. But eternally thankful 4 all the effort you guys are putting in.”

Well! Abhi has got good reason for not concentrating on work!!!

Abhishek Bachchan who is working in Dhoom sequence along with Aamir Khan has to cancel his leave because Yash Raj Banner did not sanction his long leave in November.

Abhishek wanted to take leave from work around November to spend some time with his wife Ash and his kid but due to date issue with Aamir Khan, now Yash Raj wants Abhishek to cancel his holiday.

“It is not advisable for the producers to try negotiating with Aamir as his dates clash with the time Abhishek wished to take off from the shoots. Hence Aditya Chopra asked him to reconsider taking leave,” a source told Mumbai Mirror.

Abhishek has agreed to cancel his leave. “It was a professional decision on his part. He readily agreed when he understood the problem that the producers were in. Aamir does only one film at a time and he allots his dates well in advance. Abhishek will get a customary two days off on the day of delivery. And he is content with it,” added the source.

Hope, all is well with Paa to be Abhishek.

‘No One Killed Jessica’ fame director Raj Kumar Gupta is going to direct a dark comedy film titled ‘Ghanchakkar’.

Earlier it was said that Saif Ali Khan will play the lead role in ‘Ghanchakkar’. But the latest buzz is that now Abhishek Bachchan will be seen as the lead actor in the film, he will replace Saif Ali Khan in this project because he is suited more to the onscreen character. It is said that story of the film is based on dark comedy.

Known from a source, “Since this is a dark comedy, they need someone who doesn’t need to pretend to be humorous when he isn’t. Abhishek is famous for his dry humour.”

Abhishek Bachchan has done few item numbers such as ‘Nobody like you’ and ‘One love’ in the past. He reveals that he likes doing such kind of item numbers and specially enjoys dancing on peppy beats and is always ready to do item numbers.

Recently talking about his love for item number Abhishek Bachchan said, “I definitely think that item songs are a lot of fun to do, I enjoy the beat and the pace and sometimes the singing too. I have enjoyed doing all of them.”

We have seen his dancing talents in songs like Kajra re, Dus Bahane and Desi girl. Abhishek Bachchan is doing many films such as Dhoom 3, Dostana 2, Players, Bol Bachchan. Will the actor shake his leg to any item number in his forthcoming films?

Abhishek replied, “My directors would be the best to answer. But yes if they ask me to shake a leg, I won’t shy off for sure.”
