First Aamir raised the issue of female foeticide in his television show Satyamev Jayate and now actor has taken another step to solve the problem. The actor met Rajsthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to discuss the burning issue exists in the state.

Aamir showed two journalists Meena Sharma and Shripal Shaktawat on his show Satyamev Jayate who are the residents of Rajsthan. They performed sting operation few years back in Rajsthan and exposed around 140 doctors who were involved in sex determination tests and abortions of girl child but none of them got punishment for their severe crime.

Aamir told Rajsthan CM that action should be taken against the people who were involved in crime and the CM promised the actor that he will look into the matter.

While addressing a press conference Aamir said, “I have requested the Chief Minister to take action against the people who were shown in my programme through sting operation.”

CM Ashok Gehlot said, “Aamir’s programme has created an environment against female foeticide…I congratulate Aamir for finding time out of his busy Bollywood career to take up such a serious issue. We are doing a lot of work towards the issue. But to handle this problem we need the support of the state police. He has already done a lot through his show.”

Superstar Aamir Khan who is already in news for the success of his TV show Satyamev Jayate was asked recently if he wants to join politics and wishes to the member of Rajya Sabha. Many Bollywood actors such as Hema Malini, Vyjayantimalla, Nargis Dutt, Lata Mangeshkar etc. have been nominated to the Rajya Sabha in the past. Even cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and veteran actor Rekha were nominated to the Rajya Sabha recently but the perfectionist actor is happy in his profession.

When reporters asked Aamir if he would accept a Rajya Sabha nomination, he replied, “First of all, the offer is not there. I feel I am happy wherever I am today and whatever work I want to do, I am doing that through my field… profession. And I feel I would be able to contribute more to the society through my field. I feel if I go somewhere else, I doubt if I could do that much contribution to the society.”

Well! Whatever Aamir is doing for the society through his show Satyamev Jayate, one can expect anything more from him.

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan went to attend the wedding of his friend Ram Lakhan’s son in Varanasi. Aamir falls off stage because the dais set up for wedding collapsed due to overcrowding.

Aamir was safe and laughed off the incident. He praised the arrangements done at the wedding venue.

Few years ago when Aamir was promoting his film 3 Idiots, he met his auto-rickshaw driver friend Ram Lakhan in Varanasi.

The actor had promised his friend that he will attend the wedding of his son so he reached the wedding venue at Mehmurganj’s Chaurasiya marriage hall post midnight.

Lakhan said that Aamir was supposed to reach there by 9.30pm but he got delayed because he had to travel by road from Patna.

Aamir hugged his friend and congratulated newlyweds Rajiv and his bride, Vijayta. After that he interacted with media. He was there for nearly half an hour. Many people along with media persons were gathered at the wedding venue to take a look at their favourite star Aamir Khan.

Though Aamir’s television show Satyamev Jayate is ready to launch soon on TV but he made it clear that attending the wedding of his friend’s son is not the part of promotion.

“This is the wedding of my friend Ramlakhan Paswan’s son. I have not come here to promote any upcoming serial or movie. I am here to attend the ceremony. I met Ram lakhan during the promotion of 3 Idiots. He came to my house to invite me for the wedding one year ago. I wish the bride and groom the very best. Especially the bride, who may find happiness,” Aamir said.

About Varanasi being special for him, Aamir said, “Varanasi is my mother’s birthplace. The place is dear to me and I share a special relationship with it.”

Perfectionist Aamir Khan is working hard to make his Satyamev Jayate TV show popular. Many advertisements featuring Aamir is shown on TV which is creating curiosity among people. Most of Aamir’s films are unique and the same is expected from his TV show. No one knows the format of Aamir’s show because he has shot them secretively.

Today title song of the show will be launched. A source from the show’s unit says, “Like the show, the song has also been completely kept under wraps and will be revealed only today. Besides Aamir, a very small group is aware of what the song sounds like. Almost everyone from the show’s core creative team is also being kept in the dark. But as far as we know, it’s being called a love song for the country, and has been shot all over India, over a period of three months, while he was working on the episodes.”

The producer, Actor Aamir has travelled to different parts of the country and the song will show a glimpse of his visit to all those places. The source says, “The title song’s video will show bits and pieces from all the places he has visited. The idea is to give a basic feel of what the show is going to be like. Aamir has personally worked hard on the entire song and its video.”

Aamir’s spokesperson confirmed the news by saying, “The song will be launched today. It will be called Satyamev Jayate. We can’t reveal anything else at the moment.”

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan celebrated his birthday yesterday and the actor again expressed his thoughts on Salman Khan’s marriage as he did last year.

Aamir’s birthday wish was Salman’s marriage, the actor said, “Salman saab ke liye hum dua karte hai ki unko ishq ho jaye aur unki shaadi ho jaye (We pray for Salman that he falls in love and gets married).”

About Salman’s marriage, last year Aamir said, “I will tie his hands and legs and get him married. We will all be happy then.”

Recently it was reported that Salman demands Rs 1 more than Shah Rukh Khan, when Aamir was asked if Salman deserve it, he said, “I think Salman deserves much more than that.”

It seems that Aamir feels that Salman’s performances are better in his films than Shah Rukh Khan that is why Aamir believes that Salman deserves more money than SRK.

Though Imran Khan’s latest released Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is doing great at the box office. Everyone is appreciating his performance in the film but Imran liked Aamir’s feedback the most. Aamir has not seen the film but still he talked to Imran over phone and spoke to him about the feedback he is getting about Imran’s performance in EMAET.

A source close to Imran says, “Imran, after hanging up, got very emotional and burst into tears. Probably for the first time, Aamir has been so appreciative of Imran. He is planning to see the film once he is back.”

Aamir even posted about it on his Facebook page: “Just spoke to Kiran (Rao, wife) on the phone. She really liked EMAET and said that this is Imran’s best performance till date. That’s great news, most thrilled.”

Imran’s family always supports his work, the source adds, “But this time, they have all seen the film and loved his performance.”

The source says further, “In fact, Aamir has got messages saying Imran has come of age with this performance. He’s very happy with the appreciative words he has been receiving on Imran’s behalf.”

When Imran was asked to confirm the news, he says with a smile, “Yes, it has been a very emotional weekend. Besides the critical acclaim, I am happy that everyone is loving EMAET. The numbers at the box office have been very good. But for me, the most important feedback has been Aamir’s, despite him not having seen the film yet.”

Imran’s last two films Delhi Belly and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan too was hit.
