The latest buzz is that Aamir Khan will replace Sanjay Dutt and Sharman Joshi will replace Arshad Warsi in upcoming films of Rajkumar Hirani’s Munna Bhai franchise.

A source reveals, “The idea of casting Aamir and Sharman came up during the shoot of 3 Idiots. Hirani felt that a new pair would bring in a fresh breath of air into the film. Aamir and Sharman have amazing comic timing and also great chemistry onscreen. You can see that even in their first film together, Rang De Basanti. When he shared the idea with Aamir, he loved it. He told Rajkumar that he would be game for it if the script was interesting.”

Another source says, “Though Sanjay played Munna Bhai to perfection, having Aamir on board will take the franchise to the next level. He is not only a fine actor, but also a much bigger brand name, and a marketing genius.”

A source close to the working franchise informs, “A few months ago, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani had a closed door meeting with Sanju, where they told him that they would not be going ahead with him in the Munna Bhai sequel. This definitely upset Sanju.”

Recently we have seen that Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani were not present at Sanjay Dutt’s party.

When Hirani was contacted, he denied it.

Recently Aamir Khan had a talk with IANS and during his conversation actor explained about his views on making sequel of films and also revealed about his writing skill.

 Aamir said, “I don’t have any objection in a sequel. If I have seen a story, the characters and I liked that, then I would like to know what happened to the character later. If there is a possibility of an equally nice story, different from the first plot but using same characters, I don’t mind making a sequel. Sequel should have an independent story.”

Aamir talked about his films Sarfarosh and Andaz Apna Apna which have the potential for making sequel. He said, “Like in my film ‘Sarfarosh’, what is ACP Rathod (his character) solving next? Or film like ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ has huge potential for a sequel. I am just stating but none of them has been worked out, so don’t spread that their sequels are coming up.”

Aamir too is acting in Dhoom sequel. He said, “This is one good sequel. Every ‘Dhoom’ has a different story. John comes, then Hrithik comes and now I have a different story.”

Aamir Khan also revealed about his script writing plans. He said, “I have worked as a co-writer in ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’(1988), ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander’ (1992), ‘Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke’ (1993). Once again I am writing a script with Kiran, Mansoor and Nuzhat. Four of us are writing together. It’s an idea that came to me,”

Aamir Khan also said that once script will be written, his wife Kiran will direct that film. He said, “Kiran would be directing it. It’s quite a mainstream kind of film so it would be bit unusual for her also. Hopefully I would be acting in it too.”

He added, “It’s too early to decide. If the script gets locked in next five months, then I can say that we are making the film. That news I can give you in six months’ time.”

Bollywood star Aamir Khan hosted a bash for the success of Imran Khan starrer film ‘Delhi Belly’. Entire cast of the film was present to enjoy the success of their film.

Producer-actor Aamir Khan, is did an item number titled I Hate You for his latest home production Delhi Belly, he says it’s time for “item boys.”

Earlier it was reported that Priyanka is confirmed for playing lead role in Vishal Bhardwaj’s film 2 States but later on she was dropped from the film.

The latest news is that SRK insisted for casting Priyanka in the film and also convinced her for this role.

It was being reported that she has differences with Vishal Bhardwaj after acting in 7 Khoon Maaf and it was the reason of her being dropped from his next directorial project. Another reason behind her loosing that project was that character requires a South Indian and she is a Punjabi.

Aamir Khan has said many things about his home production film ‘Delhi Belly’. Imran Khan also had given interviews about it. The latest buzz is that a part of the Delhi Belly’s story is leaked. The film’s poster shows on the top – ‘Shit Happens’.

A source informed about this incident in the film. It says, “The film is about what happens when two identical boxes of poop exchange hands. Imran and his buddies handle one box while the other contains diamonds in excreta.

That’s why the film’s tagline reads ‘shit happens’ and has diamonds in its title. Imran and his friends are asked by their landlady to carry a box of her crap to the doctor for examination. That same day, the box carrying diamonds is also being delivered. The story then unfolds to reveal what happens to Imran and his friends when they come upon the box of diamonds.”

Aamir Khan likes the music of his film ‘Delhi Belly’ so much that he feels its composer Ram Sampath will become a star.

 Aamir is promoting songs of Delhi Belly on networking site and requesting people to stay away from pirated CDs.

Aamir posted on his blog www.aamirkhan.com, “The music of DB is out in stores now and I am so excited because I am really happy with the way the sound track has turned out. Ram Sampat has done some truly inspired work, and so have the various lyric writers. Each track is a gem. After really long I think its an album you would want to own.”

Currently Aamir is in Pondicherry and shooting for his upcoming film ‘Zakhmi’. He wants feedback from his followers.

He says, “”Please give me feedback, I’m very keen to know what you guys feel. But can I request you not to listen to it on pirated CDs or on websites who put up pirated versions.”

Delhi Belly is an adult comedy film directed by Abhinay Deo and Imran Khan, Vir Das, Poorna Jagannathan, Kunal Roy Kapoor and Shenaz Treasurywala has been featured in it.

Aamir posted on Facebook, “’DK Bose’ and ‘….Uddhaarwaley Khisko’ are only two of eigth kick-ass songs in ‘Delhi Belly’. In Ram Sampat, I predict that a STAR is born!!! He has been a talent in hiding for sometime now, and post ‘Delhi Belly’ nothing can stop him. Mark my words….”

Aamir Khan posted on facebook about the song ‘Bhaag DK Bose’. He wrote, “”The DKB music video has been shot by a young, and in my opinion very talented director-editor, Sajid. Sajid has shot some great music videos and was recommended to me by Ram and Sona. Believe it or not he shot it in one day flat!!! I think we should all watch out for him.”

Delhi Belly is Aamir Khan’s sixth home production film. So far Aamir’s all home production films such as Dhobi Ghat, Peepli Live, Jaane Tu…Ya Jaaane Naa, Taare Zameen Par etc. have been hit and their songs were successful too.

It seems Aamir Khan is not worried about his film ‘Delhi Belly’ clashing at the box office with Big B’s film Bbuddah – Hoga Tera Baap.

Aamir Khan’s last five home production films have been hit so he is quite confident for his sixth film ‘Delhi Belly’

Though he knows that his film will clash at the box office with Amitabh Bachchan’s film but he is busy in promoting it.

Delhi Belly and Big B’s film Bbuddah- Hoga Tera Baap will release at the same time. Bbuddah – Hoga –Tera – Baap has been directed by Puri Jagannath. The film will show Amitabh Bachchan as an angry old man.

When Aamir Khan was asked about the clash of the film, he replied, “Ohhh, is it?” He further said, “There is always room for two good films. They can co-exist. Remember Dil and Ghayal were released on the same day? Again Lagaan and Gadar hit screens together. So it’s not new for me.”
