Actor Abhishek Bachchan who has earlier acted in ‘Dhoom’ and ‘Dhoom 2’ is also working in ‘Dhoom 3’ along with actor Aamir Khan. Abhishek will be seen in his role of ACP Jai Dixit and Aamir has played the role of villain in the film.

Recently Abhishek was asked to share his experience of working with Aamir in ‘Dhoom 3’. He said, “It’s absolutely brilliant to be working with Aamir. You get to learn so much. He is so much fun on the sets. He is like a child on the set, he is so involved and enthusiastic about everything.”

About learning from the other actors, Abhishek explained, “I think every actor learns from other. As an actor you feed off the energies of each-other. I see my father still learning from a lot more junior actors than him. So I think as an actor you learn from everybody and you should.”

Continuing his character of ACP Jai Dixit third time in ‘Dhoom 3’ was not an easy task for Abhishek. He said, “The challenge is how do you repackage that same character and make it as interesting as possible. You can’t allow the audiences to say ‘Oh we have seen this earlier’.”

Though his role is challenging but he enjoyed portraying his character in the film along with Uday Chopra.

There is also a buzz that Abhishek Bachchan will do the sequel of ‘Dostana’ along with John Abraham.

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan was in the capital recently to attend Ritu Beri’s annual kids’ fashion show which was organised to raise funds to support underprivileged children and show was also about creating awareness for autism.

At this occasion Abhishek who is also the father of a daughter named Aaradhya talked about parent’s responsibility and said that children should be given opportunity to decide their career.

The actor had fun on the ramp with other kids. When asked about his daughter Aaradhya and why she is not on the ramp, Abhishek explained, “I had lot of fun coming here. I am a film actor and these children (who walked the ramp) are much better than me. Talking about my daughter, I think it is completely her (Aaradhya) choice, let her decide her career as and when she wants too.”

He added, “Currently she is in Dubai and very small, but I am sure she will be happy to lend her support to such causes when she grows up.”

Talking about parent’s responsibility in upbringing their child, Abhishek said, “As a parent it is not about material goods. The gifts a parent can give the children are love, care, education and understanding. These are the most important gifts any parent can give. As far as I am concerned, taking care of the child is never just a mother’s role. It’s all about sharing responsibilities.”

A T-shirt signed by the actor was auctioned at the event to raise funds which was sold out at the price of Rs.5 lakh.

Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan is very happy because he and his son Abhishek Bachchan both won awards at the 19th Annual Colors Screen Awards.

Abhishek was awarded for his best comedy in ‘Bol Bachchan’ and Amitabh Bachchan was given a special award for being an iconic legend.

Expressing his happiness, Big B tweeted, “Father son win awards at Screen… Abhishek best comedy role and yours truly for outcome of a poll an all India for iconic legend.”

He wrote, “There is pride, joy and gratefulness… How much effort is put in to reward talent and creativity.”

Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan, Ayushmann Khurana and filmmaker Karan Johar hosted the show.

Since Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gave birth to a baby girl, she spent lots of time to take care of her. Though her daughter is now one year old but Aishwarya makes sure to reserve some time for playing with her regularly.

Aishwarya’s husband Abhishek Bachchan praises her for managing her schedule and taking out time to play with Aaradhya every day.

Praising Aishwarya, Abhishek said, “I’m growing to admire Aishwarya more and more each day. Aaradhya has her playtime reserved every evening and Ash makes sure she doesn’t schedule any appointments around those two hours because she has dedicated to spend that time with Aaradhya.”

He added, “I love playing with my daughter too. She is a little over a year old and I’m truly amazed with the way she runs around already. However, I’m out quite frequently because of work commitments and miss being at home in the evenings. As far as Aishwarya is concerned, her time with Aaradhya is non-negotiable. She will not budge.”

According to reports the actress is exercising to get back into shape so that she can take up some projects.

If reports to be believed Aishwarya is planning to work in Karan Johar’s film because they met and discussed the project at Mukesh Ambani’s party. A source says, “Aishwarya was pleasantly surprised with the offer. They spoke at length about the movie that he intends to direct next.”

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan will be seen hosting Zee Cine Awards 2013 along with actor Riteish Deshmukh. Talking about hosting the show, Abhishek said, “I am very happy to be a part of Zee Cine Awards (ZCA) this year. I am going to be hosting the show along with my friend and brother, Riteish Deshmukh this time. The audiences have appreciated Riteish and me together in films, I hope they like our pairing at ZCA also because we are really working hard for it.”

This time Zee Cine Awards event will be organised in Mumbai.

Riteish too expressed his feelings about co-hosting the show with Abhishek, he said, “Abhi and I are going to be hosting an award function for the very first time together. It is a huge responsibility and we hope to entertain our audiences to the hilt.”

Many Bollywood actors such as Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Deepika Padukone and Ayushman Khurana etc. will perform at the awards ceremony.

The latest buzz in Bollywood is that South Indian actor Prithviraj who made his Bollywood debut with Rani Mukherji in ‘Aiyyaa’ will be seen along with Shah Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan in Farah Khan’s next film.

Now Prithviraj will share screen space with Shah Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan in Happy New Year which is based on the story of few friends who does not know how to dance but they will end up participating in a dance competition

When contacted, actor Prithviraj was not available to confirm the news but a source close to actor confirms the news by saying, “Yes, the news is true and Prithviraj has been roped in to play a supporting character in the film, alongside Shah Rukh and Abhishek.”

The interesting fact is that actor Prithviraj and Abhishek Bachchan bonds well because they have worked in the Tamil and Hindi versions respectively of Mani Ratnam’s Raavan.

A source also informed that Prithviraj is currently holidaying in France along with his wife Supriya.

The source says, “It’s been a busy year for him career-wise, and his hard work is finally paying off. He’s been travelling up and down the country with back-to-back Hindi and Malayalam films and has been dying for this break to spend time with his family.”

The actor will be back in India by January 15.

First poster of Aamir-Katrina starrer most awaited Bollywood film Dhoom 3: Back in Action is unveiled.

Abhishek Bachchan who was also part of Dhoom and Dhoom 2 will again be seen taking his character forward in the film along with Uday Chopra. Talking about Dhoom 3 recently, Abhishek said, “The status of Dhoom 3 is we are currently about 50 per cent through, we have just come back from a marathon schedule in the States (United States). Now we resume our indoor work in Mumbai.”

Aamir Khan has played the negative character in Dhoom 3: Back in Action and Katrina Kaif has portrayed his love interest in the film. The film will be released on Next Christmas.

Well! Aamir’s fans will really be waiting to see him in negative avatar.

Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif who starred together for the first time in Yash Chopra’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan received Best Romantic On-Screen Couple gong at the Big Star Entertainment awards show.

“Jab Tak Hai Jaan will always be a special film for me. I will always be thankful to Yashji. I get really excited with awards. No matter how many I have got, they have the same affect on me, like they did when I was new in the industry. I almost become like a kid in the candy store,” Shah Rukh said in a statement.

Talking about his co-star Katrina Kaif, SRK said, “This was the first time I worked with her and see what happened! Katrina is a very hardworking girl and it was a pleasure working with her. And as far as romance is concerned, I am the best one here.”

Abhishek Bachchan got best actor comedy award for his performance in Bol Bachchan.

“Just won Best Actor- Comedy for Bol Bachchan at the Big Star entertainment awards!! Won because of the most awesome team that we had on the film. All the actors and technicians and ADs. I share this award with them,” he tweeted.

Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra were given Best Actor Male and Female awards for their characters in Barfi!.

Filmmaker Rohan Sippy’s wife gave birth to a baby girl on November 27. Bollywood celebrities congratulated the proud parents through twitter.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan was the first one who tweeted about the birth of the Rohan Sippy’s baby. He tweeted, “Well done chuckmasta Rohan Sippy here’s welcoming the latest and most beautiful Sippy. Welcome to parenthood.”

Confirming the good news, Rohan tweeted, “What Abhishek Bachchan says is true.”

Actress Priyanka Chopra who has acted in Rohan Sippy’s film tweeted, “OMFG !!!! Congraaaaats!!! That I the best news!! Chuck master sippy is a baby daddy.”

Music director Vishal and Shekhar too congratulated the couple with their tweets. Shekhar posted on twitter, “Congratulations Rohan Sippy. Great news. Really happy for y’all. Loads of love to the little one.”

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s son is just five-and-a-half-month old but he wished Aishwarya Bachchan’s daughter on her first birthday. Abhishek and Aishwarya celebrated their daughter Aaradhay’s first birthday on 16th November 2012 in a private affair.

The message posted on twitter read: “Happy Birthday Aaradhya, wish you a fantastic year ahead. Lots of presents, chocolates, sweets, ice cream. Stay blessed and happy. VRK.”

Though the message was posted on Viaan’s profile but it was dad Raj Kundra who posted the message on behalf of his son.

Explaining the reason of creating Viaan’s profile on twitter at this young age, Shilpa said, “When Raj and I planned to make our profiles on the site, we had to add ‘The’ before our names as fake profiles by our names already existed. Raj thought it would be nice if he created Viaan’s account before someone else took that name away. Raj posts on his behalf and Viaan is probably the youngest Indian celeb kid on a social networking site. He will turn six-months-old on November 21.”
