Sensational Ayesha Takia

Bollywood’s actress Ayesha Takia is truly hot, sexy and sensational. She has done only few films but she has proved herself very well. She has done the role of girl next door, role of a modern girl in Prabhu Deva’s ‘Wanted’ and also deglamourised role in Nagesh Kukunoor’s ‘Dor’. She has showed her acting skill in all these movies.

Ayesha’s date of birth is 10 April, 1986. Her father was a Gujarati and mother was Anglo-Indian.

Her mother was a Muslim so she raised Ayesha as a Muslim too.

She studied in Anthony High School but put hold on her studies because she started working at a very early age.

Ayesha’s career started with an ad of Complan with Shahid Kapoor.

At the age of 15 she did a music video of Falguni Pathak’s ‘Meri Chunarii Udd Udd Jaye’.

DJ Aqeel’s ‘Shake It Daddy’ brought Ayesha into the limelight when she was just 16.

Ayesha’s debut movie was ‘Tarzan: the wonder Car’ in 2004. She also won Filmfare Best Debut Female Award.

Ayesha has also worked in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Socha Na Tha’ which was critically acclaimed and commercially successful.

Her deglamourised role was also appreciated in Nagaesh Kukunoor’s ‘Dor’.

Ayesha says, “I love movies. So, I will continue to do work that interests me. I want to do every kind of film. You are going to see me for a long-long time.”

Ayesha has also done movies such as: ‘Dil Maange More’, ‘Yun Hota To Kya Hota’, ‘Sunday’,  ’Salaam-e-Ishq’, ‘No Smoking’ and ’8×10 Tasveer’.

She has worked with Salman Khan in ‘Wanted’ in 2009 which was one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.

She has also done a Telugu movie, ‘Super’ with Nagarjuna Akkineni.

Ayesha has performed in Vishal Bhardwaj’s short film ‘Blood Brothers’. Bill Gates Foundation funded this movie and it was premiered at the Toronto Film Festival.

Ayesha’s upcoming movies are ‘Delhi Safari’, ‘Aap Ke Liye Hum’ and ‘Yahan Ke Hum Sikander’.

She got married to Farhan Azmi a restaurateur on March 1, 2009.

Ayesha says about acting, “I am so new and have a long way to go but my directors are important-whatever they visualize I try to give them exactly that. I think that’s the best I can do. I have lots of weaknesses because I lack experience. One can’t learn acting but one can be experienced at acting and I think I lack that. That’s all I need and I will only have that as I go along.”
