Rekha is not part of Rajnikanth’s movie ‘Rana’

Rajnikanth’s upcoming movie ‘Rana’ is always in news for some reason, sometimes about casting of actors or actresses.

Earlier, Madhuri Dixit and Asin had refused offers to work in the movie.

Madhuri said she has family commitments. Asin never said anything about not accepting roles in Rajnikhanth’s movie.           

Rajni is supposed to play triple role – as a young, middle aged and old man. Out of three actresses Deepika Padukone is paired opposite the young Rajni, and Vidya and Rekha were expected to play opposite middle and old aged Rajni.  

The latest news from Rana’s crew is that both Rekha and Vidya Balan have been opted out from the film. Rekha was not satisfied for the amount she was receiving for her role and chooses to quit. Vidya Balan wanted to go through the script before accepting the role. But the director K.S. Ravikumar only takes order from big stars like Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. So the director turned the actress away.
