Salman Khan shot an item number along with Katrina Kaif for his upcoming film Bodyguard. Kareena is playing the lead role opposite Salman Khan so it’s obvious she didn’t appreciate Katrina doing item number in her film.
A source told Mid Day, “Apparently, Salman’s decision to rope in Katrina for a song in Bodyguard did not go down well with Kareena from the very beginning. Even on her birthday, Katrina dropped in to meet Salman only after Bebo had left the scene.”
Now Kareena Kapoor is doing a song ‘Teri Meri Prem Kahani’ for Bodyguard and the actress wants it be hotter than Katrina’s item number. Kareena will be seen in a sexy avatar – wear translucent sari and dance in rain.
“When both Kareena and Katrina’s songs will be released, there is definitely going to be comparison between the two. So Kareena wants to be prepared. The song Teri Meri Prem Kahani that has been shot over the past few days in three different locations is one of the sexiest songs Kareena has ever shot and she wanted it to be that way,” added the source.
Katrina has showed that she is a true friend of Salman Khan so she has not charged any fees for doing item number with him.
Producer Atul Agnihotri said, “It is very gracious of her to have done this. She has always been very supportive of our work and is ready to contribute in whatever way possible. We have all known her for years now and she is part of our family. Even in my earlier film Hello, she had to do a guest appearance and she did it free of cost.”
Kareena or Katrina, who will look win the item number race, only time will tell.
