Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor is riding high these days. Last month she supported Saif and his family when Saif’s father Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi died.
Kareena cancelled her birthday celebration plan because Saif’s father was unwell. Kareena and Saif were supposed to attend London Fashion Week (LFW) on September 19 but could not attend.
When Kareena was asked she replied, “Yes, we were supposed to go for LFW around my birthday (September 21). But of course, we had to cancel the trip. We didn’t want to go because of Saif’s father’s ill health. It was for the best that we didn’t go.
Kareena was also enquired about her wedding dates and earlier it was also reported in media that their marriage date in February 2012 had been postponed due the death of Saif’s father. But Kareena rubbishes these rumours and says, “There was never any fixed date or month for our wedding. Plus, we never discussed it in the press. So, until Saif or I talk about it, no dates can be fixed. And as a rule, we are never going to discuss it in the media. And when we really have to, we will.”
The actress added, “People shouldn’t believe in what the media reports. We never said it’s going to be happen in February, so how can there be any cancellation? Everyone, apart from Saif and I, seems to know more about our marriage.”
