Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has been advised complete rest as the actress was admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital recently.
The actress was very busy in shooting for her upcoming film ‘The Dirty Picture’ and it causes great problem to her health.
“Vidya’s parents took her for a check-up because she had been complaining of dizziness and fatigue for quite a while. A series of tests were conducted, which revealed her haemoglobin count was below the acceptable level. The doctors advised her to check into a hospital and she was immediately put on drip,” a source at the hospital informed.
Vidya Balan was travelling in and out of Mumbai over the past few months for ‘The Dirty Picture’ shooting which was done in Hyderabad. The movie is slated to release on December 2 and Vidya was completely focus on it and working hard for it.
“The role in the film is her dream role and she is going all out to ensure she gives her best. She has almost been working non-stop over the past few weeks and this seems to have taken its toll,” an industry source said.
Vidya is playing the role of Silk Smitha in the film.
“She was discharged early this week but the medical advice to her is complete rest for at least seven days,” the source added.
Vidya’s seven day rest would affect the shooting of ‘The Dirty Picture’ and another film Sujoy Ghosh’s Kahaani but makers of her films are ready to wait till she gets well.
Though Vidya is facing health problem but she is also enjoying great time of her career because her last releases were also good and her upcoming projects will bring her more praises.
The actress has many projects in her hand but the source said, “Right now, Vidya is trying to quickly recuperate at home with her parents, family and friends, so that she is ready to wrap up the remaining portions of The Dirty Picture on time.”
Well, we hope that Vidya will get well soon because once the shooting of the film will be finished; she has to get ready to promote the film which is more tiring than shooting.
