Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor is really busy these days. Promos of his upcoming films ‘The Dirty Picture’ and ‘Hum Tum Shabana’ are out now.
While talking about ‘Hum Tum Shabana’, Tusshar said, “Hum Tum Shabana is not Golmaal 4 but it’s a comedy and people are expecting it to be ‘paisa vasool’ (value for money) and good time pass.”
His film is about two guys who fight for the same girl (Minissha Lamba). Tusshar said he has been in such situation during his school days, he used to befriending with the prettiest girl in class. He laughs and says, “I guess it was because I was very comfortable around girls since I have a sister at home. Eventually, the guys realised that if they couldn’t beat me, it was better to join me. After we passed out, they would beg me to arrange a meeting with this girl and let them come along.”
While talking about Ekta Kapoor’s latest film ‘The Dirty Picture’ and people’s reactions such as Hot! Dirty! Shocking!, Tusshar is not at all affected with it, he says, “Ten years ago, no one would have publicly admitted that they were waiting to see the film. The fact that they are openly saying they want to today proves that we’ve come a long way. India’s the land of Kama Sutra, so why should we be apologetic about sex?”
He also praised Vidya Balan for playing Silk Smitha, he says, “After seeing the film, all those who were sceptical about her pulling off the role are going to say that she suited it to the T.”
Tusshar is preparing himself for the sequel of ‘Kyaa Kool Hain Hum’, he is essaying the role of a struggling actor, John, who sell gym equipment on the late night slot on TV. Tusshar will also do a scene like John did in Dostana. He says, “Yeah, it’s a seduction scene at the beach and before we shoot it, I’m really going to pump up.” And when Tusshar was asked the color of trunk he will wear because John wore a sunny yellow, he laughs, “I’ll leave that decision to my designer Shabina Khan.”
