Though Hrithik’s Agneepath is the remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s 1990 Agneepath but the film is doing wonders at the box office. Its opening day collection is Rs.25 crore which has broken all the records set so far and its bumper opening has surprised everyone.
Hrithik is receiving rave reviews from everyone in the industry and his fans love him for his magical performance in the film but the actor don’t want to be compared with Big B. He said,”You can’t compare (with Amitabh). If you start comparing, I will fail in a second. I feel people are not saying that I have done as well (as Bachchan), but I think what they are saying is I have done well in my way and they are cheering for me.”
He added, “I don’t even want to analyse. There are no comparisons in my head,”
The kind of response film has got at the box office, Hrithik feels blessed, he said, “I feel blessed. I think this is what we live for. I am on centrestage but it’s a victory for the entire team so I am representing all people – the light boys, the staff, the writers, music directors, the director, everybody is a part of this joy.”
“This is a tribute, a homage to the legend of ‘Agneepath’,” he added.
Hrithik is currently shooting for ‘Krrish2’ a film directed by his father Rakesh Roshan.
