Salman’s last two films such as Wanted and Dabangg has been a big hit but the actor doesn’t want to give any label to his success. After giving such big hit films he is not changed as a person. He has become even more focused and serious about his work. He says, “Stardom and all is bakwaas. I am and always will be the same. The only thing that has probably changed in me is that I have learnt to say ‘No’.”
Salman Khan is also known as a supporter to his friends but now he thinks that sometimes friends also deserves to be told ‘No’. He expressed his view about it, he says, “Gone are the days when I used to make a film and say ‘chalta hai, sets pe dekh lenge, kuch bana denge’ to friends who did not have a script. Give me a good script and I will do it”
Earlier Salman was not interested in promoting his films but later he understood the value of media and promoted ‘Wanted’ and currently promoting ‘Ready’. He still denies that now he is open to meet media, he clarifies about it by saying, “I am bakofying, and you are chapoying. It’s the release of my film. I am doing my job and you are doing yours. Solves the purpose for both of us.”
Salman’s last two films were a big hit so now it is expected that ‘Ready’ will also be a hit so it is required to promote the film. He says, “I just hope we stand up to the expectations. Everybody starts off wanting to make a successful film.”
There were lots of controversies about the film ‘Ready’ even there was buzz of fights between Salman and Anees Bazmee. He clarifies, “It is all bulls***. he came back for the post production of Thank You. There is no fight.” We were thinking that why he never clarifies about that. Salman says, “Why should I clear rumours? It just takes my thumb to deny all rumours on Twitter. But I choose not to.”
There were also questions about his meeting with ex-girlfriend Somy Ali and about Kangna Ranaut, which made headlines earlier. He said, “Yes, I met her. She is my friend like many others. They come to my house doesn’t mean I am having an affair with them. Kangna too, is my friend. She is very sweet.”
He also talked about film making business. He says, “I don’t want to understand the business. Sohail does and so does my father. It will probably take me five minutes but if I understand, I will spend hours every day thinking about it. I am happy this way.”
