Shah Rukh Khan has reached at the peak of his stardom. He has huge fan following in India and across the world but still this Bollywood Badshah says he doesn’t understand the reason behind his fame.
Though SRK did not have any filmy background but he made big into Bollywood but he is unable to analyse his success. During his visit in the capital for launching management guru Arindam Chaudhuri’s new book ‘Thorns to Competition’, He said, “I’ve never understood why I succeeded as an actor. I went from Delhi to Mumbai at the age of 22 and eventually became a movie star, but I’ve never been able to analyse my success.”
SRK’s parents died when he was young but the actors says he still does the films to make his parents proud and this is a unique cause and far from competition.
“I wanted to make movies so big that my parents can see my success from above. No one can compete with me because no one else has this target,” said SRK.
Shah Rukh Khan started his journey in Bollywood with the film ‘Deewana’ in 1992 and since then he has delivered many hits like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Dil to Pagal Hai’ etc. Talking about his career he says, “I am obsessed about my career. I do my job for me, not for anyone — not for my son or daughter or wife. I want to die in the flash of lights from the camera — that’s how obsessed I am.”
