Bollywood Star Shah Rukh Khan clears the rumours about his association with 2G scam accused Cineyug Films director Karim Morani. Shah Rukh said that Karim Morani has not invested in his film production company Red Chillies Entertainment.
He also said that his relationship with Karim Morani is personal not professional.
Shah Rukh said, “I have personal relations with the Moranis, but they have not made any investments in Red Chillies. The law will take its own course, let’s not sensationalise the issue by dragging Bollywood stars into it.”
Karim Morani has been sent in judicial custody. His bail petition in the 2G spectrum scam case has been rejected by the Patiala House Court on Monday. He was arrested soon after his bail petition was rejected by the court.
Morani is accused of facilitating kickbacks to Kalaignar TV and was involved in the transfer of Rs 214 crore from Shahid Balwa-promoted DB Realty to Kalaignar TV in which Kanimozhi and Sharad Kumar have a stake of 20 per cent each.
CBI has alleged that Morani took Rs 6 crore for facilitating the Rs 214 crore transactions.
