Bollywood star and businesswoman Shilpa Shetty will be seen in a different look for her upcoming film ‘The Desire’.
She is donning a bald look for this film titled ‘The Desire’. She has been featured as a monk.
For her bald look in the film, Shilpa did not shave her locks, she opted for prosthetic make up, which used to take nearly three hours.
R.Sarath has written and directed this film. Sunanda Shetty and Shi yun has produced ‘The Desire’ jointly. It is a first Indo-Chinese collaborative production.
Chinese actor Xia Yu and Shilpa Shetty have played the lead roles. Anupam Kher, Jayaprada, Vikram Gokhale, and Asif have also important roles in the film. Sankar Ehsan Loy and Viswamohan Bhat have given the music of the film ‘The Desire’. It has been shot in Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Andhra Pradesh and in different parts of Malayasia.
Story of the film is based on dance, music, art and love that know no boundaries. During Geneva International Film Festival, ‘The Desire’ has won the best narrative feature film award. It will be screened at the New York City International Film Festival on Aug 24, 2011.
