We know the story of Sunil Dutt who saved Nargis from fire during the shooting of Mother India. And now the latest news is about Shahid Kapoor who saved Sonam from Fire at the set of film ‘Mausam’.
An insider described about the incident, “The scene required the ends of Sonam’s dupatta to catch fire and Shahid to then step in and stomp it out with his foot. However due to a sudden gush of wind, the fire spread faster than anticipated and before anyone could sense what was happening, the fire had crept up to Sonam’s body.”
Known from another source, “Even Sonam didn’t realise the danger immediately, but Shahid, who was standing nearby, did and jumped to her rescue much before he was required to and stomped out the fire with such force that it completely ripped the dupatta.”
Though entire unit was shocked with incident but Pankaj Kapoor, Shahid and Sonam were silent and requested unit to finish shoot. The source added, “But of course, new dupattas had to be arranged as the earlier was completely damaged.”
Known from a friend of actors, “Sonam did thank Shahid, but beyond becoming better friends, there were no other sparks flying between the two.”
Well! It is alright if there is not any love story is waiting to happen, even friendship of these two will be hot to handle.
