Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan who is always loved by his fans in India and across the world unveiled the look of his upcoming film ‘Don 2’ at the ongoing Dubai International Film Festival.
He has huge fan-following in UAE and he said he enjoyed making the second part of the film in 2D and 3D.
SRK said, “When I am good, I am good but when I am bad, I am better. I have a dark soul and I am very proud of the film because I could be as bad as I wanted and there is no justification. Of course, we are not glorifying the bad things but in my 70 films odd career I have never enjoyed playing a part like I do in Don 2.”
Actress Priyanka Chopra, director Farhan Akhtar and producer Ritesh Sidhwani were also present there along with Shah Rukh at the event, but he was the one, who attracted the audience most.
Due to smoking scene, the film faced some problem in India and replying to the question of a fan the actor said “I don’t consider myself a role model. I have little kids of my own and I make movies for them. But honestly I think they should be exposed to all kind of stories so they can give vent to whatever there is in their system and grow up to be cool like me. We are not justifying anything here.”
Talking about new technology like 3D and audience, he said, “The film has been converted into 3D. I think the audience is ready for new technology and there will soon be a time when 3D would be the norm not the exception. There are now 600 to 800 3D theatres in India. There is a 30 percent hike in the tickets but it will come down.
I am waiting for a day when we don’t need glasses to watch a 3D film. If I have to wear glasses I would want to watch a fantasy not a romantic film. I also feel that Titanic being converted into 3D will set a new trend again.”
