Now Salman Khan is back in news but not for good reason. Everyone knows Anna is fasting against corruption and whole country is supporting him.
Salman is promoting his upcoming film Bodyguard, he recently visited IIT Kanpur. One of the Anna’s supporters approached Salman for autograph but his bodyguards beat up the man and sent him back before he could approach to the actor.
“Omendra (Bharat) tried to approach his car. Before we knew, Salman’s bodyguard, Shera, along with another security guard physically hauled up Omendra and gave him such a hard blow on his chest that Omendra almost fainted,” relates Shubham Srivastava, fellow student and activist, to TOI.
Omendra Bharat is an IIT-K alumni and founder of Bharat Punar Nirman Dal. After recovering from the attack, he said, “I am shocked at how Salman Khan could direct his bodyguards to assault Anna’s supporters. I only wanted to present him with a Gandhi topi in a peaceful manner and enlist his support for the cause.”
Omendra Bharat and his friends have filed a police complaint in Kakadeo police station in Kanpur and wants further investigation should be done into the matter.
