Though we will see Rani Mukherjee sharing screen space with perfectionist Aamir Khan in Reema Kagti’s an untitled film but the latest report about the actress is that she may also be starred in Yash Raj Films’s Dhoom 3 because a character is being worked out for her.
A source informs to Mumbai Mirror. “Rani might be seen in a role similar to Aishwarya Rai in Dhoom 2. In Dhoom 3, Aamir is playing the villain and Rani shares a fabulous rapport with him. In fact, she had once mentioned on a chat show how Aamir had been her best co-star among all Khans.”
Shooting of Dhoom 3 has been postponed to next year so Rani will have time to prepare for her role in the film.
The source adds, “YRF has three big films with the Khans – Salman, Shah Rukh and Aamir. Two of these projects are already on floors. This leaves only Dhoom 3 open with a challenging female role. Rani too is keen on being a part of the film. She will take a call soon.”
Earlier Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra were finalized for ‘Dhoom 3’ and now we may also see Rani joining these bigwigs in the film.
When a YRF spokesperson was contacted by the daily to confirm the news of Rani’s entry into ‘Dhoom 3’, he gave neutral reply by saying, “We will make a D 3 announcement as and when there is something new to share.”
