Ever since Bollywood’s Kapoor family declared the news of renovating their Mumbai home, Krishna Raj. This led to rumours that in reality they are planning to sell their house to a renowned builder for redeveloping it.
Actor Ranbir Kapoor rubbishes the rumours and says their three-decade old bungalow has never been for sale.
Ranbir Says, “We weren’t even thinking about letting our house make way for another mammoth property, private or public. We will give it a makeover in such a way that most of the space that’s free right now gets utilized optimally.” Ranbir is also excited about the plans for a swimming pool and a post-production studio. He said about the studio, “It’s a cool business idea, isn’t it? I can use it for my movies too.”
He also said work will only start by the end of the year. He clarifies, “Once we start work, we don’t want to stall midway while waiting for official consent from the BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation), so we’d rather wait now.”
