South Indian legendry superstar Rajinikanth was discharged from the local hospital on Friday and had left for Singapore for further treatment. He is supposed to meet specialists at the National Kidney Foundation in Singapore.
For last few months he has been admitted in hospitals many times due to fever and breathlessness. He was also treated for pneumonia and gastro-intestinal problems. Doctors put him on dialysis because his kidneys were not functioning normally.
Senior Doctor told about dialysis, “The dialysis we gave him is not for end-stage disease. He has recovered very well with our treatment.”
The hospital bulletin said, “He is cheerful, taking his food himself, ambulant, spending time with family. He has scheduled his trip abroad for a change and relaxation and incidentally to go in for selective checkups.”
Soundariya said, “He is fine and is going to Singapore for treatment.”
Rajinikanth took flight for Singapore at night and he was accompanied by senior cardiologist Dr. T.R. Muralidharan.
