Ragini MMS actress Kainaz Motivala talks about his experience of working in Ekta Kapoor’s film. She shared her feelings which she felt while shooting for love making scenes. She says, “I was uncomfortable doing the intimate scenes. Till then Raj and I did n’t know each other well. But he had done these scenes in Love, Sex Aur Dhokha so he made me somewhat comfortable. There were many people from the crew in the room, that made it very difficult. I told the director (Pawan Kriplani) and we tried to have few people in the room. Honestly, it was also the constant reminder of my parents watching the scenes that kept making me more and more uncomfortable.”

Ragini MMS has been shot in a Bungalow which is located at outskirts of Mumbai. They also got training for preparing themselves for the character. She says, “We had watched lot of international horror films during our workshop to get into the character. But when I started shooting, it was quite scary. There was a certain room in the bungalow that gave out really strange vibes. Weeks after the shooting got over, I used to get up at four in the morning because I felt so scared. I thought of taking therapy.”

She also talked about censor board’s judgements to tone down the promos of film, she says. “People can anyway watch the uncensored video online. I don’t know why they didn’t agree with the promo but it’s ok, maybe they needed to tone it down for TV.”

It was asked to her that how come she got this opportunity. She said, “I auditioned twice for the role. Usually during auditions they give us a script and a scene, but I was given a character sketch and two different situations. Then I was called for another audition.”

Kainaz also shared her experience of working with tough taskmaster Ekta Kapoor. She felt comfortable working with Ekta. She reveals, “Not at all. She was always very sweet, casual – not the taskmaster at all.”

Kainaz has earlier worked in Wake Up Sid and Paathshaala but now she wants to consider about taking ‘meaningful roles’. She says, “I don’t want to take on just any film. I will not do senseless films.”
