Earlier Preeti Desai used to have a hair salon. But in 2006 she won the Miss UK pageant, after winning that crown she became a sought after name in Modelling world.
Now her debutant movie ‘Shor In The City’ will be released. Preeti has played the role of Shyamili, a model who introduces Senthil Ramamurthy to the Mumbai city. She also had a love scene in the film and she talked about her love scenes, “As far as love scenes go, this is a really tame one. By the time me and Senthil were shooting for it, we had become really comfortable with each other and so it was not very difficult.”
So far Preeti has travelled a long way in Bollywood. She even shares her feelings about Bollywood movies, “I grew up watching films with a lot of song and dance in them so I am quite open to doing the same. My priority is a good script and a good director. If I get both in a project where I have to dance around trees, why not?”
Preeti liked being in Mumbai, She said, “Even if you have lived in Mumbai all your life, you will still see new things which shock and surprise you everyday. I feel so good when I am showing my friends from the UK around in Mumbai, because it is an amazing city.”
She has been in news for good reasons and bad reasons in Bollywood. Earlier it was reported that she has been engaged to actor Abhay Deol and after that her topless photographs were flaunting online. She even talked about it, “I have been misquoted a lot in the media about these things and I have decided that the best option is not to comment at all.”
