We are not sure if Ranbir Kapoor’s fans following is going to like this news. The fit and lean Kapoor is going the Emraan Hashmi way and will be seen in a new avatar in Anurag Basu’s ‘Barfee’!
Hashmi will sport a paunch in his upcoming film ‘Shanghai’, For ‘Barfee’ director has asked Ranbir to put on weight. He is playing a deaf and mute character in the film. The movie also stars Priyanka Chopra and Southern siren Illeana D’Cruz. It is really big disappointment for Kapoor’s lady fans, he is fast piling on the pounds for the first shooting which is scheduled in Darjeeling, West Bengal.
On the other hand Ranbir must be one very happy man. He is known for a sweet tooth, but he has to resist the temptation as he has a tendency to put on weight very quickly. But now, he can go on a guilt free for his character.
