Leopard Visits ‘Dream Girl’ Hema Malini’s House0 comments

A strange incident occurred at Hema Malini’s bungalow on Friday. A leopard entered in her bungalow in Goregaon (East). Though leopard ran away into the forest before forest officials could reach there.

It is being said that the leopard was seen near bungalow around 8 am, he got frightened by a passing vehicle and jumped a 10-feet compound wall of the residential colony and finally went into the actor’s bungalow.

Known from a source, “The leopard got so scared of the vehicle that it entered the compound wall and ran towards the bungalow. We saw it entering the house around 8.15am and immediately informed the police.”

The police reached at the place around 8.40 am. But when one of them tried to enter the bungalow, the leopard roared at them, and then they waited for the arrival of forest department.

The gardener and the watchman of the Hema Malini’s bungalow had locked themselves together in a room and saw leopard leaving around 10 am. Forest officials arrived at around 11.45 am and did inspection and confirmed the escape of leopard.

Forest Official said, “We checked all the rooms and also the outside part of the bungalow, but could not find the leopard. It jumped off the compound wall and went into the forest before our team could arrive.”

Forest officials stayed there till evening and suspected that the leopard arrived there from the nearby Aarey Colony which is close to the Sanjay Ghandhi National Park.

People of the surrounding area were in shocked by the visit of leopard. Ashok Kapoor who lives opposite Hema Malinin’s bungalow was shocked and said, “I have been living here for the last 13 years and this is the first time that a leopard had entered our colony.”

Currently Hema Malini is out of India and she said, “Such instances are bound to happen, as they don’t get proper food and that is the reason they come out. Also, we humans are encroaching upon their habitat.”
