The latest news in B-town is that Katrina Kaif will now do an item number for Salman-Kareena starrer film Bodyguard. Her item number will be played during the opening credits of this film and has been inspired by Bond films.
A source says, “When Salman asked Katrina to be a part of Bodyguard, she didn’t even blink before saying ‘yes’. But on hearing Salman’s grand plans for the item number Katrina got a little unsure.
Salman’s brief was simple, an item song for the opening credits that would put Sheila to shame. Considering Kareena was the leading lady of the film, Katrina feared that this might not go down too well with her. However, when Kat told Salman about her cause of worry, he said that he’ll take care of Bebo.”
Salman’s favourite Himesh Reshammiya is the musician for Katrina’s item song and Ganesh Acharya will choreograph the steps for this sizzling item number.
Katrina’s item number will be alike James Bond opening credits. She is now getting ready to match up to the Bond girls for Bodyguard. A source says, “It’s a challenge for Katrina to take the item song beyond Sheila Ki Jawaani.
She has already started preparing for it. She’s been watching the James Bond credit songs in Goldfinger, Octopussy and other Bond films to get an idea of the same.”
Though Katrina is preparing for the item song but the buzz is that Kareena is not happy with this change in film.
The spokesperson for the film confirmed the news of Katrina’s item number.
