Though Kareena Kapoor has said many times in the past that she was the first choice for Madhur Bhandarkar’s ambitious project ‘Heroine’ but Priyanka reveals she was approached for this project but she didn’t accept it.
While talking to a trade analyst during a show, Priyanka said, “Madhur and I did talk about ‘Heroine’. For me, however, it would have been like a Bollywood version of ‘Fashion’. Kareena is the perfect choice. She’s such a brilliant actor.”
She added, “As a filmmaker, Madhur brings out the best in any actor, and Kareena’s such a superior one.”
It seems Madhur has approached Priyanka, Kareena and Aishwarya for the ‘Heroine’ but due to Ash’s pregnancy, the project got back to Kareena and now she is shooting for this film which narrates the journey of a once successful film actress whose career in on the decline.
Currently Priyanka is busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Don 2’ along with Bollywood badshah Shah Rukh Khan.
