Sonam Kapoor is promoting her upcoming film ‘Players’ and while doing so actress talked about censors and she feels that they are required to broaden their minds according to the need of today’s youth. The young actress said, “Yes, we showed the middle finger but the censors are not okay with it. They don’t care what is happening on the internet. My teenage cousins are seeing things, worse things than what is happening in the cinema. Just one finger is not going to change anything.”

She also said that when Ranbir Kapoor raised his middle finger in ‘Rockstar’, censors didn’t say anything about the scene.

She further said that whatever has been shown in her film is the part of today’s youth’s life. The 26 year old actress said, “It’s the normal language that we use in our day-to-day life, especially us young people. I am not saying that it is a good thing to do, but it’s very today. If I am playing a girl of today, and I speak this way and I am not going to say the F word, it will look very unreal.”

Sonam was recently tagged sexy and the actress was surprised but happy with label she was given.

She will share screen space with Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Bobby Deol in her upcoming film ‘Players’ which will release on 6 January 2012.
