Salman Khan’s film Bodyguard is released today but the actor has flown to US for fixing his nerve disorder. He was supposed to promote his film but has gone for treatment and now the latest buzz is that Imran Khan will promote his film ‘Bodyguard’.
Recently Imran was invited by Salman Khan for watching ‘Bodyguard’ but the actor couldn’t make it due to his prior commitments for his upcoming film ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’. Imran decided to watch the film next day.
“Imran is making sure that all his friends accompany him for the movie and his near and dear ones too spread a good word about it. He has changed his status on his Blackberry too – ‘please watch Bodyguard’. And even though his own film is nearing release, he has constantly been speaking about Bodyguard in his interviews,” says a source close to Imran.
Here is what Imran has to say about Salman and Bodyguard, he says, “Salmanbhai has been very supportive. He has always come for my trial screenings and given me tips. He is very close to Aamir mamu (uncle) too. His entire family has been good to me and I will do whatever I can for his film.”
Salman too has been seen in the past encouraging Imran Khan and even during the release of ‘Delhi Belly’, he requested his fans to watch it.
Sources close to Imran also informed that he has great respect for Salman Khan as he has been watching his film since the age of five or six years old.
