Madhur Bhandarkar’s film Heroine has been in the news for last few months. Earlier Ash was playing lead role and shooting was started but due to her pregnancy Madhur stopped shooting the film further.
It was surrounded by controversy but now Kareena Kapoor has been finalized for this film. Kareena says, “I’ve said yes to Madhur and okayed the script. Now the dates and fee etc are being worked out.”
No one in the industry would ever dare to play the role which Aishwarya was supposed to do
because they will fear of offending Bachchan family but it seems Kareena is not bothered at all.
Kareena says, “I don’t base my decisions on whether someone will be pleased or offended. I say yes to the script.”
Kareena was asked if Madhur is agreed to changes she wishes to be done in the script. She says, “Of course. Madhur has been quite accommodating. But frankly, I don’t know what the fuss is about. It’s not an explosive film anyway.”
Kareena Kapoor has worked with Both Salman and Shah Rukh and now waiting for the release of her upcoming films Bodyguard and Ra.One along with these two superstars.
She says, “I’m the only actor who has managed to work with both Shah Rukh and Salman without any discomfort, despite their so called rivalry. That’s only because I’ve never belonged to anyone’s camp. I’m not here to make friends.”
“I don’t go around begging anyone for a role. Both Shah Rukh and Salman must have seen something in my talent and so took me in their films.”
Though she knows that Imran is known as a rival to Ranbir Kapoor, her cousin, she is currently working with Imran Khan in the film Short Term Shaadi.
She laughs and says, “I don’t care about anyone’s rivalry . Imran and I look so good together. As for Ranbir, some girls are having a field day because I can’t be paired with my brother.”
She further talked about her relationship with Saif Ali Khan, Kareena says, “Saifu and I are in a place where no one dare touch us. I’ve stopped reacting to baseless reports about our so called ‘fights’.”
Kareena informed that her wax figure at Madame Tussauds wouldn’t be her Chameli look. She says, “Not at all! The look is still a big surprise!”
