Famous ghazal singer Jagjit Singh remains ‘critical’0 comments

Famous ghazal singer Jagjit Singh was admitted in the Lilavati Hospital because he suffered a brain haemorrhage.

He is 71 year old. A trustee from the hospital said that he is still in critical condition.

Hospital managing trustee Niket V. Mehta said, “We have to respect the patient’s privacy.”

“Jagjit Singh’s condition continues to remain critical,” Mehta told reporters Saturday afternoon.

Jagjit Singh was operated for brain haemorrhage and is still in the ICU. He has high blood pressure problem for the past few years.

He was supposed to perform at a concert in Shanmukhananda Hall in central Mumbai along with maestro Ghulam Ali but that was cancelled.

Jagjit Singh is famous as ‘Ghazal King’ of India.
