Earlier Tusshar Kapoor was in news for his film Shor in the City and now he is busy in promoting his film ‘Love U Mr Kalaakar’.
Recently he was in Bangalore and he talks about his film and personal life. He says, “It was an alternative film and a big risk for me. Everything about it was very real; we worked with a lower budget, shot in real locations and my performance as an actor needed to be very realistic as well. I spent a lot of time watching new wave cinema to get the hang of it.”
‘Love U Mr Kalaakar’ is Tusshar’s latest film; it is his solo film along with Amrita Rao. Mostly Tusshar Kapoor’s film has many actors in the lead. He also talked about it. He says, “I just took what came my way.”
This film is important for Tusshar Kapoor but it is releasing on the same day when his sister’s Ekta’s film ‘Ragini MMS’ is releasing. Will it create any tension between them?
He says, “It’s unfortunate that we couldn’t get another date, but nothing else was available. Of course we didn’t want to clash with each other like this, but there is no rivalry between us. We’re good friends and are proud of each other’s achievements.”
He was asked about his working experience with his fiery sister. He laughs and says, “She’s only fiery at work, at home, I can bully her. Her office persona is very different from what she is with the people she loves. With a home film, like Shor in the City, her problems become mine. She was busy working on her new film, so a lot of the marketing was left to me.”
Tusshar even talked about his relationship with Radhika Apte. He says, “She’s a very attractive girl. But there’s nothing going on between us. She’s doing a dance course in London and has been living there over the past year.”
He was asked further whether long distance is obstacle between their relationships. He says, “Not at all, it’s simply because we aren’t in love with each other, If we were, then I would have done everything I could to make the long distance relationship work.”
He concluded with a twinkle in his eye, “That doesn’t mean there isn’t any potential!”
