Legendary actor Dev Anand’s last rites are performed in London. Now his son Suneil Anand along with mother Mona and sister Devina is coming back from London to immerse the ashes of the Devsaab’s in the river Godavari, Nashik.

Dev Anand’s fans are eagerly waiting for the family to help them in doing the puja arrangements. One die-hard fan of the star says, “I am honoured to be of some help to Devsaab’s family. It’s my good luck that if not during his lifetime, I will at least see his family post his sad demise. I am planning to arrange for the pundits, who will perform the last rites and be by Suneil’s side. A trip to Trimbakeshwar temple, too, is on the cards, if the family desires.”

Recently when Devsaab’s son Suneil was in London, he said, “I loved my father very much, I was very close to him and I miss him a lot.” His voice choked but he added that his father was his friend, his mentor and his colleague.

Talking about Dev Anand and his love for work, he said, “He was working on a script for his new film. He was happy to be in London and wanted to have a holiday.”
