Censor Board examined two upcoming Bollywood films ‘Desi Boyz’ and ‘The Dirty Picture’ and they gave ‘A’ certificate to both the films.
Makers of ‘Desi Boyz’ wanted to get a U/A certificate because they felt their film is for entertaining whole family but that is not the fact because Akshay and John have played male strippers in the film which could not be accepted positively by all Indian families. In one way censor board had taken good decision by giving it ‘A’ certificate.
Though AP High Court has issued a notice to Censor Board to decide whether ‘The Dirty Picture’ should be released but film has been passed and given ‘A’ certificate without any cut and makers are surprised with this decision.
