First look of Rajinikanth’s upcoming film ‘Kochadaiyaan’ is launched recently and the actor is looking great in it. Earlier it was reported that Katrina will be seen opposite Rajinikanth in the film but now Deepika is finalized for playing the lead opposite the superstar.
Soundarya Ashwin, Rajinikanth’s daughter, who is directing the film, confirms it on twitter, “Guys. Deepika padukone confirmed to play appa s pair in Kochadaiyaan 
great to have you back with us @deepikapadukone :) big hug!”
Kochadaiyaan is a 3D film and it will be shot with motion capture. Along with Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone in the lead, another actor R. Sarathkumar is also playing an important role in the film. A R Rahman is composing the music for it.
Earlier Deepika was supposed to star along with Rajinikanth in ‘Rana’ but that film couldn’t be shot due to Rajinikanth’s illness, so the lucky actress has got another chance to work with legendary star.
Shooting of ‘Kochadaiyaan’ has begun from January 28. Rajinikanth’s wife, Latha Rajinikanth tweeted about it, “Great moment and day flowers aarti coconut breaking puja and my husband super star on make up chair cheers to kochadayaan thankyou god.”
