Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has signed Ayan Mukerji’s film ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ with Ranbir Kapoor and it seems the actress will now leave ‘Race 2’ in which she was paired with Saif Ali Khan.
Known from a source, “Race 2 is meant to be shot between January 2012 and June 2012. Saif, John Abraham (the baddie), Anil Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha have allotted dates accordingly. However, Deepika is not able to accommodate this film now as the dates of Race 2 and YJHD are clashing.”
Now Deepika has decided to do a film with Ranbir Kapoor and will leave the role opposite Saif. There are reports that prodcer of ‘Race 2’ is angry with Deepika, it will have adverse effect on the mult-starrer film because other leading Bollywood actresses such as Anushka, Priyanka, Katrina and Kareena don’t have time for this project either.
When contacted, Deepika’s spokesperson said, “It’s still not final whether Deepika will quit Race 2. Her dates are being worked out.”
