Anushka Sharma is known to be favourite actress of Yash Raj Films but the actress will not act in their next film ‘Ishaqzaade’ and it was reported that she was not selected for this film because she is considered to be too loud for the role and in place of her they selected Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Parineeti. Anushka says, “This is another rubbish report. This film was supposed to be made with newcomers (Boney Kapoor’s son Arjun will also make his debut in this film) and I am no longer one. I have known Parineeti for some time as she was on Aditya Chopra’s marketing team and wanted to become an actor. I believe she is good for the role.”
Anushka is working with SRK and Katrina in the sequel to ‘Veer-Zaara’ which will be directed by Yash Chopra. The actress says, “It is a great honour to be in a Yash Chopra film and this film is the high point of my career. I look forward to sharing screen space with Shah Rukh and Katrina.”
Anushka also talked about teaming up with Ranveer Singh in Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and she also said that she will work with him in future too. She ask, “Why not, if we get a challenging script?” she adds, “It was the same team as the one that worked on BBB and we all had a great time on the sets, but this film is very different from that one.”
She will be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola along with Imran Khan. About her character in the film, she says, “But contrary to what is being reported, I am not playing a pyscho chick in the film – it’s the role of a girl who is not so normal.”
About her link up news with Ranveer Singh she says, “I have no love life at the moment. In fact, I am completely single and lonely.”
