Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan had earlier informed his fans through twitter that he will undergo an abdominal surgery and his son Abhishek Bachchan tweeted about it further, he wrote, “Thank you all for your wishes and prayers. The surgery went off well and dad is now in the room resting.”
Earlier the doctors caring Big B informed reporters about his surgery which made his fans worry about his health.
A doctor told reporters, “He got admitted today morning and he is undergoing surgery right now and the surgery is going on well.”
Doctor said that Amitabh Bachchan had come to the hospital because he was suffering from abdomen pain. After examination and tests it was found out that he will be relieved from pain after surgical interventions and he agreed to it.
Informing about surgery further doctor said, “He is very stable… I will not comment on his medical condition, it is his personal thing. All I can say is that he underwent an abdomen surgery.”
Shah Rukh Khan twitted his wishes for Big B on Twitter. “@SrBachchan sir wish u the best.jaldi hi theek thaak hokar aap aa jayein..my prayers and love to u sir. Nasrun minal lahe wah fatahun kareeb.”
Veteran actor Dilip Kumar also wrote on twitter. “Our prayers are with you (@SrBachchan) for your safe and quick recovery. Ameen.”
