Few days back we heard the news of Bollywood actress Minissha Lamb’s case who was detained at the Mumbai airport for 16 hrs for not declaring jewellery of worth Rs.50 Lakh.
And the latest buzz is about Bollywood sexy actress Bipasha Basu. She was also detained at the Mumbai airport for carrying cash and jewellery.
Reports are that she has accepted that she forgot to declare the jewellery.
Bipasha Basu issued a statement regarding this. She says, “It was just a routine check up at the airport and many others were being checked as well. All that I have in my bags is the clothes that I had shopped for and then hence had excess baggage for which I paid approximately Rs 10,000 as taxes. I think the customs team is doing an excellent job.’
