We know the power of Indian television industry and many Bollywood stars such as Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan and Akshay Kumar etc. have appeared on small screen with their special programmes. And the latest actor who is joining this list is Sanjay Dutt.
But our favourite actor and perfectionist Aamir Khan is not interesting on doing any TV show though he gets many offers related with hosting or judging a show.
Aamir shares his view about it, he says, “I don’t think the time is right for me to appear on TV as yet. I will go on a show if my friends, who are hosting it, invite me. But I am not currently inclined to host or judge a TV show.”
Recently Aamir Khan appeared as a guest on Bengali version of Kaun Banega Crorepati which was hosted by Saurav Ganguly. Aamir says that he is enjoying doing film right now and therefore TV is not in his scheme of things.
Earlier there was buzz about Aamir hosting a talk show on TV inspired by Oprah Winfrey’s popular show but he denies it. Aamir also feels that at the peak of his career he should only concentrate on his films and productions.
Well! Aamir Khan knows well that one needs to start working on TV only if he doesn’t have enough films in his hands. We can’t ignore this fact because when Amitabh Bachchan’s career was not flourishing he hosted KBC and after that he was admired by everyone.
Lets hope that someday Aamir too joins small screen for his fans.
