Though Ranveer Singh’s latest released ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’ didn’t do well at the box office but the actor is not affected with it at all. The actor says he is born to entertain.
During a press conference held for Aamby Valley’s annual New Year bash Glitterati 2012, Ranveer Singh said, “Deep down in my heart I would like to believe that I am born to entertain people. So I am most happy that I am able to cap off such a wonderful year doing exactly what I love doing the most, which is performing.”
“If I can make even one person’s New Year special by performing, then it will give me immense amount of satisfaction,” he added.
Talking about the year 2011, he said, “2011 has been the biggest learning curve of my life. What I learned in the past one year, I have not learned cumulatively all my life – the number of things that I have done for the first time in the past year, the number of people I have met.”
About his growth as an actor, Ranveer said: “My growth as an artist and as a person has been high at a very rapid pace in the past one year. It’s been a fantastic year for me.”
Ranveer will next be seen along with Sonakshi Sinha in a film titled ‘Lootera’ produced by ‘Phantom’, production house.
